STARFIELD│How to ASSIGN WEAPONS to your SHIP - FULL Guide 2023

You need to be in "Build Ship" mode to go to Flight Check. Then go on Weapon tab at top corner right.

Are there any of these help videos by anyone on Xbox anybody knows of? Xbox menu is slightly different but very similar. All of these vids are for PC & not Xbox. Really feeling hung out to dry by Bethesda.

"You can't mix weapon types". You can't even mix the same type. You can't have different named lasers in the same group even.

been trying to figure this out for a week and decided to search on yt since reddit wasn't helping

I have the wanderwell ship that you get from your parents for free. I cant seem to add the weapons. I buy the weapon but i cant assign it to the 3rd slot. Need help please. If you can do a more in depth video on the wanderwell that would be great

Thanks for this. Did not know triggers are mapped by type of weapon. I’ve got 4 Disruptor 3000 Electron Beams mapped to W0 and they’re firing but the Spark 750 Suppressor I’ve mapped to W1 isn’t firing. Should it be mapped to to W2? I’m on XBox and using buttons like Y instead of triggers is counter-intuitive for me.

My problem is that when I go into flight check and go up and choose Weapons, I scroll down to W2 and click on it and nothing is in there at all. W0 and W1 bother have weapons in those groups but noting in W2 and I can’t figure out how to get something under W2 to choose.
I hope I explained that correctly 😊

How to I put lasers into all three weapon assignments slots? For example if I put 6 lasers on my ship, which is allowed, how do I put 2 lasers in group 1, 2 lasers in group 2 and 2 lasers in group 3? Better yet, is there a way to put all 6 lasers into group 1? Thanks!

I still need to find a third weapon option somewhere?

i have 2 pairs of auto electron beams and it won't let me assign the same weapon to both W0 & W1. If I assign one then try to assign the other, it sets the previous setting to Unassigned...

My issue is, I have weapons on the W0 and W2 slot and they are assigned and working properly but I don't know how to buy a weapon for spot W1 cause every time I click A to buy a piece there is no where for me to attach it. Where does W1 weapon get attached too? W0 and W2 are side by side on my bridge.
