ОтветитьI am historically speaking a KTM rider from a long time ago 2 & 4 stroke, i wanted to get this bike but got the 25 Honda 300 Rally instead, i am watching from Thailand, would you say the KTM is more street oriented than the Honda with its heavier weight on shorter suspension? I am asking this for my friend, he comes from a CB 500 and looking to get a 300 Rally, but i think the KTM may be better for him since he is not so much offroad oriented as me?

ОтветитьVery comprehensive review! Does it feel more KTM-like in the off-road mode? I heard it makes the throttle response sharper. I was quite disappointed with my BS4 390 Duke because of the mild throttle response from the ride-by-wire setup. My Interceptor, though gentler, keeps me quite happy.
Also, did the plastics buzz at any time during your ride?
Like a lot of others, I am looking forward to a comparison between this and the Himalayan 450 even though the 390 Adventure X is closer in terms of pricing.
I wonder why India don't get the Mitas Enduro Trail E07+ as standard tires as in USA/Canada. They're great tires on-road and off-road. I've use the E07+ on my R1200GS Adventure and I loved them. Anyway, your review for this bike is great for those who are getting into the adventure segment of motorcycling.

Ответитьim still a bit baffled how the engine feels less potent even when they changed the sprocket ratio from a 15/45 from the duke to a 14/46 wich shouldve made it have more poke...are you sure about that statement ?

ОтветитьHimmy owner here. Reason and benefits to buy Himalayan 450 over adv 390 2025:-
1. Larger fuel tank.
2. Better lower end torque for offroading and wading.
3. Also comfortable for tall and broad people.
4. Similar but more comfortable suspension setup.
Really good review with facts & accurate information without the need for flair & unnecessary theatre.
