I think not seeking perfection is one of the most important things. This is what has been stopping me from getting started. I think that my work won't be good enough. I have realised in the past few weeks, I have been thinking that I need to just get started and lower my expectations. I have loved watching this tutorial. It's been a great help.

These are beautiful, but what do you do with them? It's so overloaded that to actual journal in it you would have to use a sharpie. I'm just so confused by these.

Question kinda out of context, but do you or anyone else know the most efficient/ least expensive printer to use for digitalis? I’d love to use them in journaling, but it is so expensive to print them out!!

Ive been collecting stuff from when I started daiting my partner years ago, and Ive always wanted to put it all together in like a journal, but traditional journaling didnt fit with what I had in mind, until I discovered junk journals. Its just perfect. I love the look of it and it fits perfectly to what Ive been collecting, just mish mashing things

I think it would be a fun idea to work on it and give it to my partner as a wedding gift in a couple years. Very excited for this

Thank you for this video! Now I know with to do with the scraps of this & that i have sitting around. But the booklover in me can't bear to damage any books worth reading or looking at for their beauty, and the fountain pen newbie in me wants to use nice paper for the parts that will be written on. Photocopying onto decent paper seems like a good solution, one I'ld never've come up with until seeing your creativity here.

I just started doing my first junk journal. I decided to do one with everything that makes me happy. I am looking to do with a deck of cards. Then I got a calendar from my brother that had skulls in it so I thought why not do a junk journal with the sugar skulls. I love thinking outside the box

I loved this introduction to making journals. I have collected so much ephemera and have made some things to add but haven't actually made a journal to put them in. Probably because I fear the challenge and like you said I think I lack a lot of the tools and they are expensive such as punches, stamps, ink, stickers, cutters. I would love to have a sewing machine. Margreth suggested the doodling in of written stitches. I have become obsessed with finding everything that I start to throw out and look at it as a craft supply and a bit of hoarding ensued. I need to use them!!
