Up till covid came about noravirus were biggest problems for passengers and crew on cruise ships. Several times they have given everybody shore excursions to deep clean the ship. Over the years I have seen the worst officers drowning in port being over zealous with their chosen activities
ОтветитьI totally do the same! Fall alseep with the sweet sound of waves 🌊
ОтветитьI just have a question, if you have to quarantined in your cabin for 3 days, what will happend to your roommate during this time?
ОтветитьSince the ships are not full capacity because of this pandemic, most companies are trying to put crew members on guests cabin with a balcony, as they embark the ship. It could be worst 🤷♀️
ОтветитьAre you working on the Scarlet Lady on the oncoming U.K. short cruises?
Just booked it. cant wait!
I’ve recently applied to Norwegian Cruise Lines as a Sound Technician. I wondered if all staff and crew have to wear company polos, unless they have a certain other uniform? I.e Bartenders, Waiters etc
ОтветитьThey treat you more human in prison if your sick.
ОтветитьIf you have covid and are symptom less. Lol that’s call not sick. C is a scam. But good videos. I still enjoy your channel. Have a nice day. ❣️
ОтветитьQuestion about contracts. Let's say you compete your 1st 6month contract. Is it true that the cruise line has to "offer" your next contract or do you automatically get another one if you want (being your choice)?
Thanks in advance!
I get diarrhea just from eating the food
ОтветитьI was on a cruise to Alaska (Inside Passage) in 1962! It was a small ship, a freighter called The Glacier Queen. I was just a kid. The crew were so nice to me. My dad was a doctor. One evening we were watching a movie in the tiny lounge when over the loudspeaker came "Is there a doctor onboard?" My dad responded. One of the crew had appendicitis and my dad arranged for him to be taken off the ship for treatment. This is actually a good memory. Everyone was friendly and I had the fearless run of the little ship. Beautiful scenery, too!
ОтветитьHi Lucy I have one question, during Periods do we get a day a off cause as u know periods pain is unbearable & its every month girls problem, what are the medical things for this.
ОтветитьIf you have to get sent home and you literally have no home or family to stay with, how does that work?
Ответитьwhat about your room mate?
ОтветитьWhat happens to your cabin mate if you're confined to cabin... assuming someone gets a passengers cabin if possibile
ОтветитьThank you for your very informative videos. Happy to have stumbled across them! Could you please consider doing a video (perhaps interview) on life and work as a doctor on a cruise ship? Would be interested to learn a bit more. For instance, would my wife or family be able to accompany me on extended contracts? Are there prefered medical recruitment agencies? Day to day duties? Is it a favourable career and would a doctor who has experienced it recommend it to colleaques? Could a person enjoy an extensive career as a medical doctor within the cruise industry? So many questions! Would be grateful for any information. Thank you in advance! Wishing you much happiness in your travels and career.
ОтветитьDo a video on job responsibilities of a sanitation supervisor or office in a cruise ship. Expecting soon
ОтветитьAnother interesting and valuable video from Ms. Lucy!
ОтветитьMaybe you could explain why cruise ships don't carry the 2 medicines that help people, who do contract COVID, on board. Seems harsh to drop a COVID traveler off at the next port and make them find their own way home.
ОтветитьWhat happens if I got mild fever sometimes?
ОтветитьWhat about something like laryngitis?
ОтветитьThanks for sharing. One question: if you're sharing a cabin, where does your cabin mate move to if you are confined to your cabin?
