The start is the reason why I want to go into the game as quickly as possible. Or I get stuck on the menu screen.

You cant beat Majula bro. It had a calm sunset with a warm earthy life feeling. Like a little farm plot with family close by. The music may be nice, but Majula made a new atmosphere, a calm one, peace between storms.

Fun fact, that old king in firelink is you from DS1. He eludes to it heavily. Though we name our characters, it's known in there lore nobles change their names to surnames based off the people they rule. Over time as a Lord of cinder, people called you Ludleth, instead of the name you chose. The name ludleth must hold a meaning in faith in their language. Regardless, he's small because he was an ashen one, one day, and became a lord of cinder. That's why he even says he will "die a Colossus" to divine our courage and strength in DS1. He's gonna die strong no matter his size. Just like we fought strong no matter how small we really were. Jorm was a boss in that game, and a little known fact is everyone is revived when the flame is rekindled. So jorm joined your old self just to go do the same shit he did the first time ☠️

Such an amazing game but I have played it so many times I don't think I can do it again but nice to see others enjoying it for the first time. Hopefully From does another more linear game like this as well as ER DLC

Dunno if anyone told you. But ds3 is set after ds1. The final boss of the game, Soul of Cinder is your character from ds1. There's even some areas from ds1 in this game as well

Mati, you can remap the jump button in Dark Souls Remastered to make them the same as DS2 and DS3.

I don't remember if you could remap it the original, in fact I only discovered about the button remap for DSR fairly recently.

Finally a dude who gets excited and appreciates the same thing about dark souls 3 that I did. Great to watch!

Heres a few tips: Use your shield more odten. Always lock onto enemy. Use you consumable souls when leveling up. Two hand weapon for better damage in certain instances. Farm soups as much as possible; those praying guys are free souls.

Your reaction to the menu music was pretty much how I reacted to it the first time. It's such an amazing piece of music, and it's for the menu? It's still to this day one of my favorite ost of all time. (And I still listen to it on loop from time to time while reading.)

Honestly Dark souls 3 has the best bosses in my opinion, not only that it's much more unforgiving if you're a new player and dont know what you're doing, so yeah 10/10 game would play it again

I entirely get panicking and trying to find a bonfire. But why when the enemies present themselves to you, do you not kill 😭. It'll lessen the burden of running through them. I know this is practically a year late, gotta make up fr lost time
