Nexus 3 ! ALL The New Presets! Are They Good? Going Through The New Sounds.

Can I able to upgrade Nexus starter to complete. How to do that?

This is not worth 250$ old nexus is better. Better to buy pigments 3 which has much more better sounds.

i feel like a lot of the presets from such plugins are just like ones in logic pro's alchemy, they sound great on their own, but when you put them in a mix of other instruments, they immedietely sound different due to competing frequencies, so you EQ, but without all those frequencies, they just don't sound as dope, most great songs are a mix of many simple sounds, not complex sounds

How to install those presets bro??? I've bunch of presets but I don't know to how to add them in Nexus 3...please help me out!!!

I just got it and boy ... am I disappointed... I don't know about the newer banks. I did bought the cheapest version, but the included sounds are outdated and horrible. You have a preview of the sounds in the explorer and you can use the keyboard to go up and down but when you want to load you do have to reach for the mouse and double click. The libraries are very expensive, about 50 euro... Honestly I am afraid to buy one, cause I did expected much more from the stock sounds. They did not have a demo version, so I just trusted the many reviews I saw online. IMO you can spend our hard earned money in a better way. Maybe Spire + a few sound banks, Serum + some banks, Dune 3, Sylenth1 with some banks.. For 100 extra euros you can even get Reason 11 rack plugin. The standard version comes with about 17 instruments, many effects and also includes 10s of thousands of sounds, presets and loops. The best thing is - YOU CAN TRY BEFORE YOU BUY.

Nexus is just garbage.

What u guys think about sektor compared to this ? I have nexus / sektor / and heat up 3.... but don't have any expansion packs for nexus only 1 for sektor. Mostly been buying them for heat up 3. One thing about sektor you can do some sound design create your own still learing though.

The majority of vst's are exactly the the same if you stick with one vst like spire or Sylenth1 and learn how to use it you will find that you can make all of these sounds.

This is just an overpriced collection of typical synth sounds that are disguised with fx, may as well been a Kontakt library. Super limited when it comes to sculpting sound. Those here saying that this is the best plugin in the world, go grab a demo of a real synth such as Dune 3, Pigments, Serum, etc.

all i can hear is a lot of reverb to fill in the space. would have been great if you could play the presets without reverb

I took my 100 dollars and bought Avenger. The "update" should be free. The "new" sounds sound the same. The expansions all are sounding the same. I will continue use Nexus 2 with the dongle Not buying any more expansions.. Access to hidden parameters should have happened a long time ago as well as a preset browser. They are not updates, they were necessities to keep Nexus relevant. Which is why I bought Avenger.

listening to these preset previews is pretty mind numbing.. on the fence about buying this and sadly this didnt help.. thanks for the video anyway!

I got Nexus 3 and almost all sounds are renamed and changed. When i load my old projects (productions) the Nexus 2.7.4 sounds ar all gone and can not be loaded anymore. If I load the old Nexus 2.7.4 with the old presets and old content it works with no problems. I can not understand that they renamed the old sounds and also delete a lot of it. For example the axel f sound or the folder "XP Vintage Bonus" is gone. Why? I will use old and new Nexus and it works for me. I have the old folder for Nexus 2.7.4 and the new for Nexus 3. When I want to work with the old sounds for Nexus 2.7.4 I I use the old "Nexus Content" folder. I thought that when they create a new version of Nexus that all the old sounds are still there. Well I was wrong.

When i open Nexus 3 in Cubase i get the message the library for nexus isn't installed.And reFx Cloud has downloaded the library.

I think there are some great sounds in there and it’s all about making them your own. I guess people are forgetting that as we stand your current limit is over 80.000 presets so you are bound to find something that you like if you purchase the whole shebang! Personally I like them. Time to personalise these! Thank you for the video as well bro!

Damn... the FL Flex rompler sounds much much better than this and it's free... UVI , the right Kontakt or Serum bank kill these sounds.. And the user interface needs work or new skins like the last version
