Shopify Dawn Theme | Creating Templates

I added Monaco theme and I've created a template and assigned it to a few pages. My problem is that whenever I add a section to one of the pages, the rest of the other pages with the same template get modified as well. What am I doing wrong. Thank you.

Hi = ) When i do that in dawn theme it doesnt work. I can create a template but when i assign it from the list i cant find it! Any idea? Maby it´s because its not my live theme? thanks! = )
