Moved from Colorado to Santa Barbara 4-5 years ago when I was In my early twenty's . I definitely called them Mountains and Interstates when I got here but I now call them hills and freeways. You should definitely visit Lizards Mouth viewpoint during sunset here in SB. I guarantee its an amazing view to overwatch the sunset in the hills as the sun sets over the ocean.

Hi, I'm a software developer and live in a beautiful Island Puerto Rico, work from home full-time, also a private pilot now and now I 'm studying for commercial pilot. Look Puerto Rico TJSJ and one of the best Beach Island Cities Culebra TJCP and Vieques TJVQ. Puerto Rico is a territory of the United States, is in the Caribbean with at least 300 beaches. When I Fly always I pass over the beaches. Culebra TJCP have an airport of 2,600 X 60 ft, to land you have to enter between the mountains, its better to be instructed. Culebra have more than 10 beaches and one of the is in the top ten in the world. Vieques havo 40 beaches. Puerto Rico is like to be in Miami, but we have mountains, beaches, shops, historical castle El Morro and San Felipe with more than 300 years.

Ah, I'm also a SW eng in the bay area (but def. not a pilot) - I ride my bike right at a park right next to San Carlos airport, always see the planes on final approach right overhead. Very cool to fly to work. That's such a neat little airport b/c it's tucked away and rather small it seems, always wondered who flew there.

Is there anything that you use your phone for in the airplane ?

Stevie you are dynamic. I like your procedures using the checklist, the safety procedures. Back in the days my motto for privet Pilots was if you had a drink get out, Enjoy the beach. it was a beautiful in 1950 and it is beautiful now. Be safe.
