Hell, still do to this day, depending on my mood / the context of what Steve Irwin material I'm watching. Such as, this, for example. He was too damn good for this world.

The tragedy is not having a dead parent, the tragedy is having parents, living or dead, who to not love you and who see you as a burden. Bindi will never know what it feels like to be unloved, unwanted and alone.

Steve, my friend, you were not ugly. Not in any way. Not on the outside, not on the inside, and you have so many people who will back that up. Your wife adored you, your children adored you, the world adored you. Mate, you brought beauty into the world by being who YOU were. Not an ugly thing about it. Now you have a gorgeous new granddaughter to carry on your work, and Robert will one day have his own family. There's only beauty in the Irwin genes, nothing ugly whatsoever.

One of the most wholesome men I've ever seen. The love in his eyes....You just can't question how much he cared for his kids. He was a truly beautiful man and it's a rarity to see a man as nurturing as he is. That's not a dis against men, just an observation having seen a lot of men with their children.

This breaks me every time. The love he had for his family was exponential and that was clear.

On another note, I wish people would take some of his advice today. Keep your kid normal...don't put them out there too much, let them decided what they want to do when they get older. He didn't exploit his daughter for attention and that's a good parent

Father’s Day is around the corner. What I would give to have had a father like him growing up.

The only celebrity that ever really touched me was when Steve Irwin died. It was just so untimely! He had Bindi and Robert to raise and he was just such an incredible father! As heartbreaking as it was, it is obvious that Terri has been equally incredible as a parent too! It is just so beautiful to see Bindi and Chandler having the same type of love story as her parents, and I hope the same for Robert in time as well. Maybe Terri will find love once again now that both her children are 'almost' grown.

We are grieving and crying for a loss of a legend very much missed Steve irwin 1962-2006 it's now 14 years since your death we miss you so much we miss you terribly I just wish you could come back even if it's just for one day just to see you again but I know that you can't come back your gone but not forgotten you are gone forever it makes me sad that we will never see you again 😭😭😭😭

Steve is the only "celebrity" I have ever shed a tear over.. but he wasn't really a celebrity. He was doing God's work and there happened to be a camera there for some stuff
