I literally cannot wrap my brain around how The Escapist thought this was a good idea, did they really not think creators would leave?
On average non-ZP videos get around 20k views, whilst ZP gets on average 400k and on big games like Starfield and BG3 closer to 800k. Did they genuinely expect this to work in their favor? I don't get it?

Looks like the comments on the last two ZP were turned off. It's probably an accident, right, Escapist.

Just wanted to come back here to laugh at the fact they disabled comments on the last pair of ZP videos.

Since this is the newest video that comments are still enabled on. Not quite sure if they're trying to milk the last dregs out of this or there's still someone working at the escapist that wants to bring the last zp episodes to the audience. I ask this because the last zp episodes were uncensored and thus likely demonetized?

The Escapist knew they were going to get clowned on in the comments of the newest videos, so they disabled comments. But they didn't think to disable comments on the old ones. Get rid of everyone who was making the company better.

Dont know if Yahtzee actually checks these comments but knowing his appreciation for the Yakuza series, Kiryu's story specifically, I really hope he's getting around to "The Man who erased his name". Only just recently started this continuation of Kiryu's story and so far Im loving it. A little dry and serious so far for Yakuza standards but its the same "Pick up a park bench and beat a group of punks into submission" style gameplay that made Yakuza so much fun and of course it's Kiryu and Majima. Kasuga Ichiban was a huge improvement over Yagami from judgement but he was still no Kiryu

Been watching the escapist since the days of Yatzee being a young pioneer. Ive watched doomsday arcade, Doraleus and friends, unforgotten realms, Apocaplypse lane, Loading ready run, Lisa Foiles, Jimquisition, Movie Bob, and so much more.
I've been around since forever. When I started watching the escapist and reading their articles, my PC monitor was a square with tubes inside, not a flatscreen.
The Escapist has had its ups and downs, it has had periods of glorious content, and content draughts, but the WHOLE TIME, THE WHOLE FREEKIN TIME, I have come back every weeek, to watch zero punctuation.
Lastly what I have been watching is adventure is Nigh, and the new fresh faces in the escapist did seem like they brought a good wave back again to the magazine/channel.

Apparently some absolute clowns has ruined that now, and made the Escapists oldest, most loyal and sturdy workhorse leave its stable. I have cancelled my membership, and I will not return this time. So long and thanks for all the fish, I really hope you just shut down the site and channel instead of trying to force this onwards.

An appropriate title for what the industry executives can now call themselves. As for me I'm following the phoenix

You know, I just realized something important.
Someone should probably archive all of these Zero Punctuation videos on the off chance that The Escapist actually fully implodes with all of their talent gone.
I know some people were already doing that before they started making those official "Zero Punctuation With No Punctuation" videos, but someone should probably do that.
Same with the Extra Punctuation stuff and so on. If this channel goes down, that's a lot of content we'd lose to the void. :/
