Subaru is mentally on par with guts.
ОтветитьHolly f*ck this show is storytelling at it's best.
ОтветитьVoice: "Do you suffer from PTSD?"
Subaru: "Yes, I have had countless mental breakdown already, can you help me?"
Voice: "I will make it worse"
Subaru: "Please, don't"

While the very concept and possibility of Subaru leaving behind doomed universes where the world kept going without him, this trial is doing something much more horrifying, more cruel: It's forcing Subaru to face a reality he's been trying to avoid since the moment he realized he could return by death.
The reality that his life and death are in fact having a bigger impact on others than he himself would admit, he already had a glimpse of that reality in the loop where Garfiel goes on a rampage, and helplessly watches in horror as his friends and the villagers keep sacrificing themselves for his sake, his life is not disposable, he is not disposable.
We are often amazed at how Subaru hasn't become mentally broken by all of this, but the reality is... Part of him might already be dead inside, that's why he goes from fearing his own death, to actively accepting it, even seeking it whenever a timeline goes south.
This arc very much destroys Subaru's self-inflicted notion that he should just keep throwing his own corpse at problems until he stumbles upon a solution, to face that suicidal side of himself, and realize that, even with Return by Death, he can't keep needlessly burdening himself like that.
Well i miss clicked. I wanted to see all of Petelgeuse moments.
Crunchyroll is alway doing best trailers.
I wonder if we can see stuff like that in the future.
i love this scene so much it was so brutal

ОтветитьCould someone write it down (not in Japanese characters)
ОтветитьThankfully Emilia only had to struggle with the past trial, because no way was Subaru going to pass this.
No amount of therapy could have helped him here.
I know it has yet to be confirmed, however if he actually just creates a new timeline where he didn't die upon his death and leaves the old one behind to move on as the world where he died, that is some dark stuff right there. His power would be a curse rather than a blessing.
Ответить"Your life AND your death have consequences. People whose lives you touch are affected by your choices more than you know Subara. "

Everyone: Damn Subaru really has it fcking rough
Me: .........Did Reinhard just oneshot Puck in his monster form?
How many pain you want Subaru to go through?
Author:*Y E S*
Puck must've known about return by death, or at least suspected something similar.
That's the only explanation to why he would destroy the world. It would be to reset it by activating return by death and in turn saving Emilia!
For all time all bad things cant and dont accept bad Thanks and these are not real
ОтветитьI don’t know why but.. I just feel like this voice is non other than perhaps either a Subaru from the future or the person he reincarnated as talking to him, as if preventing him from selling his life to Echidna, or rather making him realize that his life is not a tool and it actually impacts the world with every death, I’m no expert but this theory just pass though my mind. I don’t really know much but isn’t he the reincarnation of a great sage? The one whom Satella fell in love with? Uggh this is confusing but mystery is definitely one of the things I love from Re: Zero!!
ОтветитьThis is by far the best anime scene I've ever watched. Hands down, no debate about it.
ОтветитьJust know that this is very likely true if we believe in alternate realities. Otherwise, an unthinkable present is just a what-if scenario formulated to torture him. As a matter of fact, it could be even Subaru seeing into the future when he actually never dies. That’s why he’s subconsciously having checkpoints, it’s simply his mind realizing the point of no return. Even with REM, she wasn’t killed, she was put into a coma so there has always been a path of redemption. So you can see this in many ways, which ever brings you satisfaction.
ОтветитьКадры от которых я испытываю странное чувство страха и удовольствия от перемотки
ОтветитьWho was showing him all these things ?
Ответитьi will not spoil but this is not even the worst experience subuara has experience just wait to arc 6 and especially seven
ОтветитьThat was crazy
Ответитьthis was a running theory i had for awhile watching, that maybe subarus powers worked like that episode of rick and morty were he wasnt actually going back in time he was going to a alternate universe everytime he hit the reset button
ОтветитьThe last chapter that left re zero (cap 75 of arc 7) made sure that satella controls time which ends any possibility of other timelines, there is only one same line in the story so subaru really saved everything world
Ответитьpoor guy :(
ОтветитьThe second trial is also Subaru’s biggest fear …he fears the possibility of continuation in those worlds!!
ОтветитьThe concept him making his decision to commit suicide just to make another reality where he is dead but rest of the things keep on going makes the whole anime and death scenes even more terrifying, amazing and puts a whole lot more meaning to what this whole anime is based on
Ответитьwait what? Where was the wilhelm one?
Ответить500k views! 🥳🥳🥳

ОтветитьI just realized that this was the second trial subaru faced without even realizing it.
ОтветитьThe one they don’t show in this, where Subaru slits his own throat, has to be the worst of them. He just told Emilia he loves her and wants to be by her side forever, and she finds him dead by suicide next to the body of a girl she doesn’t recognise mere hours later. It must have killed her.
Ответитьthis trial was never meant to be this challenging. Subaru's unique circumstance ramped up the difficulty by several hundred times as his worst potential present is limitless.
ОтветитьFun fact : in the web novel elsa saw an angry puck after she killed subaru and emilia
Also after rem killed him there eas a long argument between her and emilia in the morning in which emilia gives up on the throne after seeing how subaru was killed, roswaal was disappointed that his future was going as planned

This show does a good job at showing you how he is always so close to insanity.
Ответитьmy wet dream would be to see the reactions of people I know see me dying or killing myself 😅😅😅
ОтветитьI’d like to see Abel react to this after the great disaster of arc 7.
ОтветитьHe died so many times that he opened around 100 other universes... Congrats bro good job. I would like to see more drama from the other universes, like when he killed himself ( not the cliffjumper, the 2 stabbing ones)
ОтветитьWait wasn't this all fake?
ОтветитьHe will loose his mind both with his memoirs in arc 6
ОтветитьCame back here cuz arc 6 said the trials voices are the same as these trials voices, forgot how this sounded like
ОтветитьImagine Subaru have to again Reinhard and he only have ability is return by death.
ОтветитьMaaan that ommited the best one.
The first one :
He had literally just promised Emilia he'd be there for her and committed sepoku for no reason (they can't see Rem ,in their perspective she doesn't exist at that point).
Looks like every time he dies he creates cursed worlds in which life continues.
