How to Create a Google Forms Quiz for Duplicate Classes in Google Classroom

I know this is from 3 years ago, but I am just curious if you are able to tell me how to do this without having to copy and rename the form? I have 12 different classes per semester and this is just time consuming. Last school year (2022-23) and previous years, when I posted an assignment to a class with a form attached, it did NOT combine responses between classes. In fact, if I were to open the form directly from my Drive, it would show NO responses. If I opened it from Class A, it would show only class A students' responses. If I opened it from the assignment in Class B, it would only show Class B students' responses. I don't know what is different this year, but it's not working the way it had in the past and now I am stuck having to use this time consuming method of copying and renaming for every single class. thank you if you know anything to help with this issue.

Nice. I wish there was an easier way though. I have about 20 quizzes, so it's a ton of work to do it this way.

Your video seemed totally awesome....until I tried it. Didn't work. What happened was, I added the new copied file with its new name and hit 'save'. When I checked the assignment, it had reverted to the other class name! So for both classes I have the same file (quiz form)!! Why did the name change?? I didn't do anything to it. So I tried moving the file to a newly created folder. I moved it from the classroom Google Drive Folder of the first class to the Google Drive Folder of the 2nd class. Still it reverted to the form I didn't want! So now I'm going to have to spend a whole hour (at least) redoing the quiz for the 2nd class from scratch. Talk about frustrating! And YES I did the whole TEMPLATE thing... but still nothing works.

Thanks for this; it's really helpful! Just a question, will this be the same process I use if the quiz is supposed to be the same for three different teachers's classes? I.e. I want to set the same test for three different teachers to use for each of their classes at the same time in the day. Hope that makes sense. Thanks!
