Visual Studio 2022 for .NET WinForms developers

How can we reach you, if we need any clarifications, for example: The chart controls from Windows Form Tools Box (Data) is missing, where as it is checked in .NET Frame work Components, I'm using VB 17.8.1 version, before it was visible, now it is not visible, can you please help me to solve this issue

WinForms revolution when?

In VS2022 when I go and create a new WinForm project (Core, non-Framework) none of the WinForm controls show up in the Toolbox. I've reset the toolbox, I've restarted VS, rebooted the machine, nothing works. When I "show all" I see the items but they are all disabled / blacked out. When I create a WinForm project using 4.8 Framework, the controls all show up fine in Toolbox and I can drag and drop them just fine onto the form in the designer. I've searched quite a bit and have not found a solution to get those controls to show in the Toolbox in a stock DotNet 6 WinForm project from the template. Any ideas?

WebView2 is not good for my application when I develop the app to view pdf file in UserForm online(without download to my machine). This feature is easier to use VBA to make the job done. If you have another way to suggest. Please guide me....

I think we should all revert back to VS IDE 2013. You guys made it sure that with each new version, the IDE gets worse. I am using VS on multiple computers and servers, and the problems are the same. I am using VS community and VS entreprise, I am using win 10 and win server 2019. Lame!
IT IS NOT WORKING. 1, it is toooo slow. It freezes most of the time (on all platforms) and 60% of its lifetime it runs at 100% CPU. At first I thought it was Resharper. A couple of weeks ago i reformatted my PC, 32 GB ram, 1 T SSD drive, NVIDIA GTX 1080 card, a Microsoft keyboard and mouse, installed VS community, no Resharper, no other extensions. LAME!
I am thinking changing my whole development environment to Linux or Android.
Oh, and what is it with you guys and multi-monitor systems? I can't seem to open an application on my main window. It never opens where it is supposed to be. The worse is if I have 4 screens open, and I double click an icon, the application will always open hidden behind the screen holding a remote desktop open, wherever that is.
YOU ARE MICROSOFT! I shouldn't be talking about these issues in the third millennium!

What are the alternatives to the following software for winForms .Net core 6 ?
1. crystal report .
2. Reactor to winForms (v6.5 does not supported winForms .net core).

I have one doubt about migration: if I have a Visual Basic WinForms app that worked with Sybase from 2000 - 2004 and if I want to recreate that app with tech you described in the video, .NET 6 has native support for Sybase/ASE databases or do you recommend me another .NET technology? if have it, since what SYBASE/ASE version has support? ... Keep it on the good work!

You still improve winforms but have left visual basic behind. so disappointing to find I cannot develop cross platform apps in vb. some improvement!

This will be an unpopular opinion but winforms should die. While it exists it will be keeping all the old windows API what hinders Windows do be truly refactored.

I miss the time when desktop apps rule the world, now everybody wants web apps. Web apps can be accessed from everywhere but they will never reach the power of desktop apps.
