8 minutes of awesome! We want moaaaarrr
ОтветитьA Deye rebrand inverter
ОтветитьAwsome video bro, although I am currently in thai land and have already bought my bag t-shirt so I feel offended 😂😂
Ответить🇿🇦🇿🇦🍺🍺
ОтветитьLooks like an Deye inverter, screen is different (mine is lcd touchscreen) and the wifi dongle looks exactly like deye's
ОтветитьI’m a traveller too. I love how seeing new places and cultures opens your mind. So open in fact that it MUST be shared with Everyone! 😂
Cheers Corey. Thanks for the amazing vids. I’ve learned a lot and been inspired loads.
Happy New Year
Chinese inverters like that are all over the place in Africa. MUST is another popular one. Many of them come from the same OEM, with a custom brand attached.
ОтветитьGreat video, nice to see you getting a bit of a break
ОтветитьNot a bad installation at all, looks like it would have passed the MCS. If the earth bond is most likely the star point on the generator, i wonder what is used for solar only mode, must be a floating earth (Haha)
Ответитьinverter is very popular in africa, badged variously Sunsynk, Deye, Sol-Ark.......
ОтветитьThe even used NH000 Blade Fuses for the batteries, rated upto 120Ka over short circuit current. LIFEPO4 can deliver ten of thousands of amps short circuit and the MEGA fuses used a lot are not safe during a shortcircuit.
Seems like a pretty safe install tbh. Not bad at all.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to you and family Cory! Squawk!
ОтветитьSuch an amazing trip, thanks for taking us along, Cory.
My only contact with the Shona people is slightly incongruous compared to your wonderful visit. The new vicar in our church is a young Shona woman with the voice if an angel. At her induction she had many compatriots come and sing songs in their native tongue. I was put in touch with them and they helped me learn the Shona words of a well-known hymn phonetically which was fun. At our Christmas Nine Lessons service, where I sing in the choir, we had no child available to sing the first verse of Once in Royal David's City so ahe sang it in Shone, possibly one of the most beautiful things I've heard ring out in the quiet candle-lit church. So I can also vouch for the fact that the Shona people are the sweetest kindest souls.👍🤗🙏
Edit hope youre having a very happy Christmas and have an adventurous and prosperous New Year to come, Cory. The way youve expanded your horizons is awesome, thanks for all you do, I've said it before, you're a genuinely good chap and deserve nothing but goid fortune in life..👍
Cracking last 2 videos.
Those Huawei Batteries are the same ones who are rack mount in cell towers as power backup, here being reused.
That inverter is manufactured by Shenzhen INVT Electric Co., Ltd, one of the many companies that exist who are in the Solar industry.
Regarding the message in the last video, it is real an eye opener to many people this kind of situations. Being in China I had saw such too.
Although China is an advanced country if you stay in the main manufacturing regions, as soon you go a little more inward of the country you start seeing similar stuff as you show here, where a lot is done with almost nothing (even if chinese people would say the opposite as pride itself).
What I can say summarise in this small quote:
"We have done so much, with so little, for so long, that now we can do anything with nothing"
We should put ourselves in their feet, see how lucky we are with what we have compared with them and really give a huge thought about our life and society.
Have a great end of 2024 and an even better beginning of 2025. The best for you and your loved ones.
when you go back there tell him theres no such thing as killer meters!
ОтветитьJust finished the last video now onto this one. 2 in a week, what a treat!
ОтветитьHappy Christmas Cory
ОтветитьThank you Cory
ОтветитьBeautiful Place😀
Ответить"She went to Thailand and came back with a photo and baggy serong" - 😁🤣 It must be my mind.
ОтветитьI have been in Africa for 3 years, Tanzania and now Togo, it is like no other place I have ever been, the people even though they have nothing always smile and wave if you wave at them, it is a wild place literally
And figuratively, it will give you a buzz like no other
that inverter is a dete clone
ОтветитьAwesome to watch these “Africa” clips whilst I’m on a houseboat on Kariba at the moment!
ОтветитьIt's a Megarevo inverter.
ОтветитьSee the world merry Christmas and Happy New year 😅
ОтветитьI grew up in Africa and only when you have been do you understand just how much it penetrates your soul and never leaves you. Great to see how the people remain the welcoming folk they are.
ОтветитьCory you have caught a very serious virus called Africa. It makes you happy and makes you realise how out of step with the reality of life that the developed world has become.
ОтветитьInverter is a Deye type clone, all do the same job.
ОтветитьWonderful people to deal with, always happy and helpful. Two videos on same day - you're on fire ! Nice one for Christmas!
ОтветитьMissing blanks in the consumer unit, seems to be common everywhere. Great content though, you are so fortunate Corey.
ОтветитьIts a shame i no longer work on the ships , you would have a field day, i loved it. Engine power would only power essential electronics like Radios, Nav, Nav lights and emergency lights.. great video.. Merry Christmas mate
ОтветитьMerry Christmas Cory. The inverter looks like an SRNE brand. Most Axpect inverters look the same. Those are the most widely used here in Zimbabwe as the entry level inverters.
ОтветитьThere is a big, big world out there. Fantastic video. Keep up the good work.
Ответитьcorey you've taken what you did at artisan and retrofitted it with totally new angles on your trade! you have done so well and even as a non sparky viewer i really like the content (and the occasional madness!) as it doesnt feel like a case of "i am a pro... i am god! you will bow to me!" its more like "heres the job, this is what we are doing... enjoy! (and a tube of pringles if you have them please?!" 😂😂) followed by a very watchable vid 😁
keep going corey, your doing an excellent job with things (this vid proves it!) have a great xmas, you deserve it 😁🥂🍻
Merry Christmas and regards from Holland enjoy your Afrika trip Pro
ОтветитьHappy Christmas. Probably just a poorly mounted hot water tank waiting for a bit of swell to take it out.
ОтветитьI see a lot of INVT VFDs here in Vietnam. Haven't ran across any of their inverters, but have only seen a few solar installations up close.
ОтветитьWow. That was awesome. I want more. More about how cheap it is to make things relatively safe.
ОтветитьYou’ve come such a long way since Artisan. Well done
ОтветитьAwesome video. Africa does seem like the perfect place for going mostly solar.
ОтветитьMerry Christmas! That Inverter looks like a rebrand of Deye/Sunsynk
ОтветитьMerry Christmas
