I had a fucking nightmare with this mod and I mean it it’s a mess to install

SMOD is basically if you mix Half - Life 2 Overcharged with Half - Life 2 MMod and Crack - Life 2 altogether and will make SMOD.

I have a problem with the mod, basically I can only play about 4 chapters and some are incomplete
It seems that files for the other chapters are missing because it does not start them
Would anyone know what the problem is?

i downloaded the mod i clicked point insertion it took me to the part where u get crowbar without doing anything and i had guns then i just followed the game and crashed

half life smod redux is bascially a fever dream

a fun little fact, in real life, the Pancor jackhammer...kinda sucks, to be entirely honest

there was, if i remember correctly, only around three functioning prototypes, and reloading was a massive pain.

i could be wrong, as ive heard between 1 to 3 functioning prototypes, it also doesnt help it performed terribly. i do remember this though, the shotgun has no need for people to pay to add it into games, and it looks cool, which is why its everywhere.

I did not expect 3DMM music.

overall i say this about this mod:the way much BETTER half life 2 overcharged mod that is actually really fun to play

I played this so much back in like 2009. So much fun!

It kind of sucks that you didn't talk about the difficulties that came with SMOD. Like Very Hard and Nightmare, becuase those difficulties make the game WAYYYY harder than hard mode in original Half-Life 2. Nightmare is the hardest difficulty, and by the description it seems really f*cking hard.

Something to note:

Gordon’s kick is fantastic, and if you spam it long enough without letting it finish, you can make a Combine energy ball, and kick it again to launch it. At least, that’s how it worked in Redux V8

This made me think of how cool an ULTRAKILL in Half-Life 2 mod would be. Imagine playing Half-Life 2 and mowing down enemies with explosives and ricocheting bullets. In normal Half-Life 2, a room full of enemies would have to be strategically approached. In an ULTRAKILL mod, you could finish the chapter in the time it takes a normal player to finish one room.

SMod is what would have happened if Half Life 2 was made by 3D Realms or Platinum Games

Hey. The PSP is a great handheld especially when it is jailbroken along with the Vita

After playing this, my favorite weapon is definitely the stickybomb launcher.
