Great presentation of different approaches in 2D animation!
I prefer to use Adobe Animate for animation and edit with Adobe Premier.
I am not a beginner. I have been working with Flash for more than 20 years, it is a very convenient and logical program.
The softwares I got are Opentoonz, Krita and Blender. Those softwares are free, but I will use Moho pro. Have you ever done puppet animation?
ОтветитьI can't draw on paper 😫
But I can do with Softwares
I love working in photoshop as I love my brushes and stuff I’ve collected but the lack of audio scrubbing support is extremely inconvenient for my workflow. Heavily considering tvpaint

ОтветитьThank you, i'm new to this animation world and this guide will be a great help to achieve my dream to become a film-maker animator, thank you so much.
Ответитьhow do u guys ad and sync a voiceover with a frame by frame animation software? its easy in ae, but i tried in animate cc, its a nightmare to me.
ОтветитьWhat can work on an iPhone. I can’t afford a tablet
ОтветитьWhat do you think of Synfig Studio?
ОтветитьBlender is good
ОтветитьBlender grease pencil
ОтветитьMoho.
Ответитьopen toonz is very very buggy full of bugs software, never use it
ОтветитьGood advice
ОтветитьVery well-made and informative video, thank you!
ОтветитьIf you like to animate on paper and are just looking for line test, there is a little software called image to avi. It's very easy to use and I really appreciate it.
Ответитьi have a question for tv paint do u have to pay in any way ?
Ответитьhehe happy blender noice in 2021
Ответитьi like pencil 2d but its just too glitchy for me personally :( ive been mostly using firealpaca for years, and am looking into getting into grease pencil (when i get a proper pc that doesnt have blender run on -218489fps) toonboom or adobe animate
ОтветитьDo you have a video that talks about inking an animation? If you don’t, could you please make one?
ОтветитьI don’t see Clip Studio Paint there that is a powerful solution neither Blender that is more powerful than Adobe animate, you can make 2d skeletal animation or even use 3D models with a cartoon shader to make them look like 2d animation, clip studio paint is more than enough for frame by frame animation and is better for drawing and coloring than photoshop to replace Adobe after effects you can use blender to create ANY KIND of simulation and animation, light effects, particles simulation, transitions, camera actions etc etc
ОтветитьThanks! Now I know what TITTY animation software I should use! 10/10
Ответитьi use pencil 2d
ОтветитьMe: Dam, I wanna learn TVpaint! I’ve seen some cool works done on it.
sees price
😃😀😟
Better start saving or all the time you spent watching tutorials because you got bored would go to waste
Software isnt everything, but its definitely something
Ответитьthanks
ОтветитьOpentoonz have Tahoma version now 👍👍👍
ОтветитьIf you animate a bouncing ball in TVP it will look just like you drew it. If you animate the same ball in Flash or Hamony it will strobe. Meaning the ball will seem to flicker on and off or that you can't exactly place your eye on the ball. The feeling of TVP animation is closer to that of actual hand drawn animation in my opinion. TVP brush capabilities in particular the water colors and pencils are unparalleled.
ОтветитьCan you make a current video?
ОтветитьI personally use Photoshop cs6 to animated but because I don't have the "Photoshop cs6 extended" I can't use onion skin, timeline or adjust the time and stuff that they say they can do
(I can do some of it but it limited to some features and it's so annoying)
So I have to get all the Frames and put it in editing software instead (just like in the video)
I use blender for 2d and 3d
Ответитьcris in flipaclip premium on a crappy old tablet
Ответитьalso what about blender??
ОтветитьClip Studio is another industry tool that is very affordable for the independent animator.
ОтветитьGreat channel so much useful information man!
ОтветитьIs that tvpaint animation 10 pro?
ОтветитьI'm just sitting here animating on procreate
ОтветитьI feel like I should add onto this and say you should definitely get Clip Studio Paint! It's actually mainly a paint program (unless you buy the animation version- but I don't have that so I can't go into detail there) but it does have basic animation features! It has onion-skin, Multiplr animation folders, and a somewhat easy to manage timeline. Oh yeah, and it also has that fancy thing where you can draw outside the animation box (which makes slight backround movement really easy). My only two cons so far are that it's really hard to duplicate frames without messing up the original when you draw on it (I still haven't found a way) and the fact that it fors not have an audio feature. Other than that Clip Studio is a really good program for both drawing and animating and I definitely recommend it before you go for fancy software like toonboom so you get to learn the ropes of computer animation before going into something that would take a lot of time to learn
ОтветитьFlash on stairods😭
ОтветитьYou only need blender
Ответитьthe animations on my channel are made with Krita :)
ОтветитьI use harmony 17. I think this is the best software for smooth professional animation. But if you want a bitmap style kind of animation then I definitely suggest adobe.
ОтветитьVideo:If you have no access to an animation desk, animation paper, etc then your next best option is a digital software
Me: How about a Flipbook?
I've tried everything and the only animation software that I'm comfortable with is sketchbook, I want to animate but I can't find any tools that have the same feel as sketchbook has, also I use a wacom cinqt 13 and software's like krita take up too much if the screen and I end up having the smallest room to draw. Any help?
ОтветитьI'm using Photoshop for my animatic and I have a lot of fun with it actualy
