Xiaomi Smart Band 9 has received several important improvements, and for the first time it is available in a metal case.

In addition to Mix Flip and Redmi K70 Ultra, at its summer presentation, Xiaomi presented the updated Smart Band 9 – the inexpensive smart watch received a couple of noticeable upgrades in the form of an improved screen, more accurate health monitoring and record battery life.

The device received a stronger metal case in the form of a capsule with a 1.62-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and doubled peak brightness (from 600 to 1200 nits). All control takes place through the touch screen.

Xiaomi assures that the accuracy of sleep tracking has increased by 7.9%, and heart rate monitoring by 16%. And the bracelet started to hold a charge longer - up to 21 days with normal use. For comparison, Smart Band 8 can work on one charge for no more than 16 days. The device is charged through a proprietary magnetic accessory.

Among other features of Xiaomi Smart Band 9: 150 training modes, an advanced vibration system with 20 different modes for different scenarios, protection against moisture according to the 5ATM standard, and a version with NFC will also be on sale.
