These r serious amps have a SUPER BAD DESIGN with the top controls under the plate which as you can figure would be impossible to get to underneath the seat in a vehicle without removing the seat.. .
ОтветитьHi guys I’m looking forward to get one r2-a60f I have already installed good speakers but not hi res…
Is this a problem for this amp?
Alpine always gives more than rated power I thought. I have a 500 and 1000 w alpines and my 500 bumps harder than my JL audio 500. Straight up. Remember the smell of the old radios? All perfect looking and the way you can change the color. Setting off whole parking lot car alarms. I was a kid in the 80s Alpine was always high end
ОтветитьSo does high resolution make the sounds we can hear better? And if not why waste energy on sounds that don’t?
ОтветитьI have the Alpine r2-s65 Coaxials thay are hi res 100w rms and I have the pioneer gm-d8704 witch is a 100w rms x4 but it's not hi res. So my question is why dose my speakers cut out and the amp gose into protection when I turn the volume up and when I turn the volume down the speakers come back on what could be doing this please
ОтветитьSo I want to get four 8” R2’s with the R2-A150M
will I want to get four 4ohm’s and wire them down to 2ohms, or 2ohms and run them down to 1ohm?
thank you sir!
ОтветитьPls i need help
Ill lime to update my 2019 silverado speakers and tweets
Can you recommend me what model should I buy for a good quality sound. Thanks for your help
@AlpineTV
Eric & Chris, the downward-angled terminal blocks are more often than not a DISADVANTAGE and PITA rather than making the install easier or cleaner looking! Especially the Power terminals! And if this was such a good idea, why weren't the RCA terminals angled down as well??? ANSWER: It's a bad idea...for ALL of the terminals.
In over 25+ years of car audio installing, I've NEVER had an issue installing an amplifier with standard, STRAIGHT terminals. I can't say that for amplifiers with these silly angled terminal blocks. 🤨
PLEASE stop designing amps with these terminals. The Removable Terminal Plugs on the previous PDX and X-series amplifiers is a MUCH BETTER IDEA.
But thank you for making both the 750w and 1200/1500w Mono amps! You lost me after the PDX M6 and M12 options were discontinued. Will there be a Newer version R-series 5-channel as well?
THANKS for listening.
Too bad I can't fucking buy one, no one has them in stock 😑
ОтветитьRecently bought R-type 2x 6.5” comp, 2x 6x9’s, 2x R2 8” and R2 10” subs with 2x monos and the big boy 6chan amps and now you’re releasing new stuff? My system is currently at 7.7kw total watts. 😭😭 take my money!
ОтветитьI just picked up a R2-A60F. I gotta say on first impressions the build quality is top tier. Cant wait to get it installed! Gonna be pairing it up with R2-s652 PRO for the front doors and tweeters and R-S65 from the previus gen (I bought them back in november before R2 series came out) will be pairing them up with my ILX 507 for that complete all-alpine install. Looking forward to a VERY detailed vid about the R2 S652. They two vids. one for introduction and a second for installion tips. We DIY guys need and appreciate installation tips, from you guys as the alpine team especially! and confirmation that its OK to extent those wires. Ill be mounting the crossovers in my trunk and doing individual wire runs to the doors and dash. but id love for you guys to do a vid on this sort of thing first so I can just borrow your ideas when installing mine. thanks for doing this vid! as a loyal alpine customer and alpine fan. please do LOTS more vids! there So much info to cover with all your new gear! especially the R2 series of speakers and amps and woofers.
ОтветитьLooks great but why the continued terminals angled down? Good to see the screw sizes are changed to a normal size but the blocks still angle downward, such pain in the but. Other wise, I like the improvements!
ОтветитьIs there a 5 channel type r?
Ответить👍👀👍
