This didn't work for me. I've had mine for a few years now and it's still displaying like it's working, but no sound. Sometimes says s-mute but obviously plugged in correctly because it's worked for 3 years. Tried new cables no luck. Tried resetting my TV and that actually worked until I turned my TV off and back on again.

Thanks for the video but my HW-Q90R/XN won't reset with any of the reset procedures. Do you have any ideas? It turns on but has no connection, no sound and the volume and input buttons don't work. I have tried a lot of things the last two days but maybe it's really simple.. or really hard, something with the motherboard?

After all this process my sound bar is still not working

I have a q60t and the sound bar nd subwoofer stopped working and now when i turn it on i cant see the arc option. Ive been video surfing for hours and cant find a single vidoes to help out. Anyone got any ideas .?

I have the Q950A. The - and + did not work for me (did nothing), however, pressing the settings (cog icon) on the remote for ~10 seconds did force the soundbar to factory reset itself and it has so far resolved my issue where the sound would drop instantly to 0 (tried connecting with eARC/HDMI/WiFi with the same issue). FYI, my remote layout is slightly different but process is the same.

It doesn’t work for me. It is showing me the hrz and the initi ok and nothing. It doesn’t restart

Bought a Samsung Q700B soundbar for my Samsung qn94a TV. Soundbar connected and transmitting great sound and subwoofer connected also but all I hear is faint static from it. Any ideas what issue is? Maybe something with settings? Firmware up to date

This worked like a complete charm. Thank you! Don't know why this simple fix is not mentioned in any kind of official Samsung Tech support/troubleshooting (paper, online/chat, phone). It's like the company is not even aware of this fix; they are just asking you to go grow super frustrated and rip them a new one on social media and swear off all Samsung products ever again.

Said “ok” after holding it and displaying “int” and would just turn off to same result after turning on.

May be a helpful video, but the music is some of the most obnoxious sounds possible. Silence would have been better...

Seriously I've had nothing but problems with my Samsung MS650, wouldn't connect to Samsung TV, wouldn't connect to subwoofer & (useless) tiny surround speakers, then sound was nothing like in store, now it doesn't recognize hdmi 3 eARC

Hi there so I have a Hisense u88g/u8g and a Samsung soundbar hw-a50c I’ve tried everything till now still no luck.
Whenever I turn on my tv it’s goes to d.input and it stays there I’m using hdmi arc for both it works but on my soundbar it just shows tv speaker it doesn’t connect to my tv n doesn’t give me a option for in the settings too pleas help .

How to solutions turn off itsef after 5 minutes ?? Please help

Thank you, had power outage in area, sound bar not seeming to be connected to TV but could hear commands when selecting sound bars remote. Unplugged HDMI ARC & power cord, re plugged all is good!
