Is there a way to decorate a house completely without using crowns? Or do i have to pay for crowns to get most of the decorations?

I had no interest in housing until I decided to one day try to decorate my apartment. I got hooked. Now I tell my friends when they first play to just try and decorate their apartment once. They get hooked every time.

I find it very frustrating that I’m limited to ten special whatever they call it. I like having lots of npc’s and animals around and I’m not allowed

Housing is absolutely the endgame of ESO. I dipped my toes in a little over 2 years ago and I've been addicted ever since. Something important to remember is everyone starts small! New builders/decorators should not be frustrated if their homes don't look like the homes someone else has done. Look at those homes as inspiration and aspire to what YOU want to be. I started out building little fireplaces and now I build towns and castles. I learned how by watching others, touring homes, and not giving up on what I wanted to eventually achieve. Trust in yourself and go for it! Take your time, don't be too harsh on yourself, and enjoy what ESO's housing has to offer. It's unlike anything else you'll find in any other game. Housing slots are restricting, yes, but the concept of housing is miles ahead of the competition. So dip your toes in and have fun, build and decorate how you want, and express yourself and your creativity with housing in this awesome game!
