ОтветитьThe best choice in this wheather. Getting save home is all that matters. No freight is worht the risk.
ОтветитьGreat tips God bless besafe
ОтветитьToo bad you can’t take a winter vacation in the warm climate. That always rejuvenates me.
Ответитьyou wake that baby your welcome home will not be so welcomed lol
ОтветитьCorrect me if iam wrong ADAS enabled vehicles can drive automatically in a foggy road coz it has radar to sense the road
Ответитьin 83 my stepdad and i were traveling thru ct.up in the northeast in very similar conditions.he was driving a c/o from a company in vermont.a truck like ours passed us and the first thing he said was that driver was going 2 fast and would b off the road very soon.just a few miles up the highway that same truck crashed into a overpass and the cab was hanging over the highway below.we didnt stop as the weather was 2 bad but radioed 4 help.not sure of the outcome.stay safe josh..
ОтветитьCanadians eat snow storms for breakfast lol. Just kidding it sucks. Stay safe trucker
ОтветитьEnjoy your videos but holy cow the wining about the government is ANNOYING! We all get it government is what it is.
ОтветитьHey Josh, that’s how you can tell the difference between a steering wheel holder and a professional truck driver, especially a professional truck driver with more than a decade of experience. We know when to stop they do not. Hence why they are the ones do you see jackknifed laid over on their side flip completely over or in the trees?
ОтветитьI appreciate how you are always so considerate of others on the road, Josh. Good character is rather rare these days. 😊
ОтветитьJust found out that all company owned tractors for the transport company I drive for are getting forward facing cameras installed within the next couple months.
ОтветитьThat 130K looks great.
Ответить2 clock guages? Was that just to cover up a certain fluid level guage that isn’t needed now? :)
ОтветитьSmart move to pull over for the night. It is crazy to be out in that kind of weather after dark if one does not really have to be out there.
ОтветитьI think everyone who lives in the snowy north would love to spend some time in the south to stay warm sometimes. 😂
I work out of Nebraska where it's freezing and go south to Georgia all the time warm, cold it's the cycle. 😂
Hi Trucker Josh I'm glad to see your safe at the truck stop good and warm your new truck heater stay safe to your next delivery
ОтветитьI know how you feel when you were getting fuel the second time when that polar cold air was coming in I couldn’t feel my legs or my face or my hands when it made its way last Monday in north east texas and I had to work out in it
ОтветитьHow in brit
ОтветитьHey Josh ,just think you could have that idiot joe Biden for a prime minister...
ОтветитьBe safe for sure Josh !! Roll on keep posting sir💪
ОтветитьI'm here in Iowa, we got some more snow yesterday too. Not fun! I do not like all this snow. Drive safe out there. My husband is a truck driver too.
ОтветитьLook at Josh, leaving us on a cliffhanger. 😂
Ответитьno load is worth your life, good decision to hunker down.
ОтветитьI took on truck driving as a semi retired job and I am glad I subscribed to your channel because your tips is just gold to me. I live in the province of Quebec where road conditions in winter can be as bad as in the prairies. You sharing both your knowledge and experience sets you apart from all other similar channel. Keep on trucking and safe driving. Serge
Ответитьoh my welcome to winter trucker josh.. you found your self a blizzard i see
ОтветитьThe weather forecast always lies just like the government
ОтветитьGood morning, Josh.
ОтветитьDo they regulate how long you can drive if you have no load? If you were bobtailing and needed to get back home out of the snow but you would be out of hours, does that still apply and prevent you from going home until you have enough downtime?
ОтветитьOn ya Josh for being a thinking driver I will probably never drive in the snow down here in Australia but I have been in a white out on a ski trip once not great at all stay safe and warm
ОтветитьI agree. Sleep is important. I’m in my forties and the last time I went to the doctor he told me that “sleep is as important as nutrition” at this age.
Ответить😂 We've all been there , great decision to stop for the night
ОтветитьGood discussion 💪🏻
ОтветитьGreetings from Steinbach!!!
ОтветитьJosh, I work for Pesnke roadside assistance for their truck fleet, this past weeks cold spell/blizzard has been crazy. Had a lot of truck stuck in snow/ice, no start, and gelled diesel where they aren't used to this weather as far south as texas and arkansas, BTW love your vlogs been watching for years even before i got invovled with the trucking industry this year.
ОтветитьRecent heavy snow in Wisco. Had to make a 40 mile round pharmacy trip. I'm in a 4x4 Tundra so not too worried. All alone southbound on xway. Northbound closed. Why? Hotshot trucker knifed in the middle ditch. Few miles later hotshot trucker 2, also northbound, in the side ditch, knifed. Lots of four wheelers who shouldn't have been out were sucked off the roads by the ruts. BTW for low visibility try yellow tinted glasses. Honest 35% better vision in rain, snow or fog...not stylish but I will not leave home without them. State cop turned me onto the glasses.
ОтветитьJosh, some people are in their own little world and do not have consideration for anyone else......you are not one of those people.
ОтветитьPrayers of safety. Stay warm. God bless you and your family. Thank you for your service.
ОтветитьTwo people that can lie to you is the weatherman and a politician.
ОтветитьFun fact, every Kwik Trip/Kwik Star has bean to cup machines.
ОтветитьYou could dress as one of those orange and white constrction barrels they use to mark construction zone. My hubby and I call them Schneider eggs as they are the same color of Schneider transport trucks. Bright orange. Be careful in that snow. Keep the rubber on the road and that stick under control. Rest well and enjoy your bit of time at home during your reset. I am so happy you got safely to the spot you stopped at for the night. That looked scary.
ОтветитьChecking in for my yearly blizzard watch. This is as close as I want to get. LOL
ОтветитьSop you miss out of all the good things, Australia Gods chosen countyr
ОтветитьWhy did you go the longer way through Grand Forks rather than through Warroad? Wow, that is the worst visibility that I've ever seen. Glad you parked for the night.
Ответитьno sharknados!!!!
ОтветитьI get so scared when there is snow on the road I'm the slow guy everyone passes
ОтветитьAlawys play it safe. Blowing snow is no joke.
ОтветитьHow are the new tires 🤔
