The coming nuclear conflict will leave more people alive than dead, but supply chains, water and power supply will be compromised. Ration packs like these are finite in number, and will be worth their weight in gold, when true famine emerges. People will kill for just one MRE like this. Enjoy the future you voted for, people.

This ration is just food from a usual grocery store man, it's not for military and not for nuclear war. I live in Russia and I know what I'm talking about. There aren't this type of food in military rations.

From what I saw in the video, I believe that the grain portion of breakfast is buckwheat groats rateher than barley. I love buckwheat.

Is there iodine in it? Counter effects the nuclear fallout problem If russia uses actual nuclear weapons they are going to have a big problem on their hands

The weird taste of that meaty porridge most probably is as its should be : it's buckwheat, not barley. Buckwheat indeed has a dusty, fragrant character that's quite different from other cereals...

A year ago I ordered a case of 24 hr mre, the FDA opened every one and stole ALL of my base foods and left the condiments.
A paper from them stated the foods were tainted with decease.

I remember a guy opening a huge container of hard candies from the CD (Civil Defense) rations. I think the CD became FEMA back in the late 70s early 80s.

The chemical notes might be from added iodine... In case you or other viewers doesn’t know, it is used in case of radiation poisoning... which kind of makes sense since it's a Nuclearwar M.R.E.

I've watched many Russian mre videos a and have eaten quite a few. The perfume off the barley is something many have commented on. It's natural apparently. I never tasted any with that perfume. Those meat and grits or meat and pearl barley are some of my absolute favorite mains. People love them so much that the Russian factories now manufacture these MREs for civilians to purchase.. I like them but I really want the real thing when I order

Yeah you're talking absolute bullshit. This is a commercial ration pack that you can find readily in any "military surplus" shop in Russia. Like you would find mac and cheese in any Walmart in the states. How do I know this? I live and work in Russia, I'm not Russian, and go camping a lot. Because you can literally camp anywhere where there is forest. The military ration packs are clearly labelled that these ration packs are used by military personnel with specific insignias on the packs. They are generally a lot more expensive than these commercial packs. The fact that you're stating it's for a nuclear fallout and that Russia is supplying their bunkers with this is just for clicks. Common, be better.

I enjoyed your review of the Russian Nuclear War Ration; but don’t think they could put out the numbers needed to supply several hundred thousand soldiers and it is unfortunate that some of the components have a short expiration date. Blessings 🙏🏼👍🏼

I would figure the cheese and sausage would be something to eat on the go, between meals, or when it's inconvenient/unsafe to have a fire. The peach drink would be to have with it, as again it wouldn't require a fire.

You know, when you're trying to focus on something but there's a fly stuck between the window and the screen. Once every 20 seconds it goes ballistic with a powerful BzzZzZZ-bZzZ BRrRzZZT-ZzZ BRPTP-zZzt... in an attempt to accomplish something. That disruptive sounds that you didn't realized was annoying until you started to pay aytention to it.

That guy's voice reminds me of that. Non stop high pitched voice, loud, not a single second of silence, constant flow of words, fast, always, bZz-bzZzt.

Not saying I would hope to just be in the blast range in case of nuclear war, but man the aftermath would suck to live through. The ration looked pretty good though, I'd not be complaining with that in a nuclear war. I heard that Stalekraker reference in there too, love that guy.

I screwed up and missed, sorry friend. Catching up now. Many Russian rations tried, including, old blue pack Emercom. This is fresh, enjoy Dane. Components look cool. Crackers, well, they are what they are. Apple jam, Apple Butter, rocks!! As you well know, the sugar is made from sugar beets, not the sugar cane, we are used to. I love it. Granted, European rations, have overload, LOL. Kasha looks awesome. Aroma, taste, is odd? Cheese looks and sounds excellent. I tried the Russian, fat and pork, called, spitzk? was excellent, Pork fat still rocks. 2nd can, meal? Not tried? Looks cool although. Sounds tasty! Correct on terms for prune. Dinner, that tea is awesome. Veggie caviar, mostly zucchini in most blends. Unsure on yours? I am one of the few, that enjoy this. Tushanka rocks!!!! Most of my meals, involved, Kasha. I have had some , with, that meat. Love it, sorry. My Dr., does not wish me to partake, sodium, LOL. Glad you had A good time friend. Peace, John. P.S., yell sometime? Catch up on gossip, LOL.
