ОтветитьI’m a Brit here in Texas on Christmas Day and I have a 5.5 lb rib of beef. I’m flowing you to the letter. Turkey doesn’t hold a candle to this rib. Yorkshires and roasties on the go as well. Merry Christmas y’all!!

Better take it out 6 hours.
the video says cooking time 1h15m. The receipe written says 1h. His cooking guide says 1h30m-2h.

ОтветитьIt's the 2nd time I've ever attempted to cook a beef roast. Thanks to Jamie, this time, it came out super delicious. From now on, I will only use this recipe! ❤
Ответить(Humerous man-angled comment) Tried this 5 times now. Spot on every time. For those amateurs like me (and probably professionals too perhaps), use a Meater probe. These are a godsend if you are manly enough to admit you can not suddenly develop the superpowers to detect exactly when meat is cooked to perfection. The combination of Jamies advice and technology means you will be serving the perfect roast with less concern if you suddenly get distracted by a home raider trying to steal your food. You can be like "hold on my meater probe is going off" - then take the roast out of the oven - burn him with the oil and then slice your roast to perfection for the family. Manly job done. Raider disabled, knife safe for cutting. Perfect roast.

ОтветитьWhat about the piece of beef that had string holding it together? You cannot brown the beef with this string wrap and if you remove it your roast will not hold together.
