When u extract it open the folder and there is another folder copy paste that inner folder otherwise it wont work

sadly i did every step but i couldn't see the version :(

i just cant find the snapshot in the versions

or just use MultiMC and download it there like any other version. honestly i highly recommend it if you are using different modpacks and stuff. MultiMC is great!
