I'm gonna be honest, I think the portals to all 9 nine realms opening and arriving at Asgard was way more hype than the portal scene from Endgame

I still Remember when rapture of war was used during the attack against Olympus,and listen to this during the invasion on asgard just make me cry, god of war was my only love when i was a kid but growing up i forgot about it,i was blind

So what would happen is that if Kratos didn’t change for the better he would’ve been unconcerned with the civilians during Ragnarök. This outlook during the war would end up killing both Sif and Thrud, the last of Thor’s family, given their proximity to the refugees. Thor would be enraged to the point of no return, he would fight Kratos, overwhelming him, and caves his head in with his hammer, finally killing Kratos and avenging his family. It would also prove the Norns right that Kratos can’t change and prevent a death that could be avoided.

The first great war is great and the second great war in mount olympus is greater but ragnarök is in another level

I’ve heard people say that this wasn’t what they expected or that they wanted a more intense theme for the battle the whole Norse saga has been leading to, but me personally, I can’t imagine a more perfect representation of the twilight of the gods.

I just finished Ragnarök and wow... I have no words for how GREAT it was. I think it and Elden Ring should've both won GOTY honestly, they're both completely deserving of it

They should have cut 90 minutes from Ironwood and added them to Ragnarok.

I played The Realms at War mission with headphones in and this playing at full blast, never had so much adrenaline playing a game before, what a final battle.

The joke here is that Ragnarok is the End of the World, and yet we're all still here to listen to this soundtrack...

Has anyone found the "ingame" version? As usual for soundtracks, a lot is missing.

song playing during the Norn's part made me just stay in silence and listen while my tears started dripping. You know a story is amazing when it makes you feel strong emotions like this, you can just absolutely feel the weight of the moment.

then when it hits during the start of the war. It is just unexplainable. The way the song cries for all the people that die in this bloodshed, the absolute tragedy thats happening, but the way it also tries to show some hope in the god of war theme's motive.

God of War Ragnarok is an absolute masterpiece.

Man this music perfectly matches a world ending event that is Ragnarok 🤩

Kratos: I came to these lands to escape my past. To start a new life. I can hide no longer. I do not want this war. We have suffered enough. Prophecy did not lead us here. Nor will it win this battle. Wars are won by those that are willing to sacrifice everything. If that is the cost of vengeance... so be it.

I like how when you go to the norns, and when they mention ragnarok this theme plays. 10/10 game.

Go ahead and say anything y'all want about being unappreciated of what the team did for us. Cause you're not gonna change my mind.

Man, this song is the only part of Ragnarok that's good. It gives the sort of "dread and regret" tragedy vibe everyone has. Playing the game while this track played made it incredible.

And then it ended, and then the melodrama started again. It's such a shame they forgo'd this song in favour of generic battle music, and fucked up the story. A lot of epic shit happens during Ragnarok - and you barely do any of it. All you get is to fight some more generic Asgardian enemies.

What a phenomenal track for such a lame ending sequence. Like it was made for a totally different game and story.

Чёрт.. только вернулся с этого замечательного путешествия. Как много хочется сказать, написать, но эта игра, она говорит сама за себя.
Обычно саунды в игре не запоминаются особо, но это исключение. Мурашки по коже. Никакая не громкая какофония металла и рока, а самая настоящая трагедия, чувство, что идёшь встречать достойную смерть, готовишься отдать жертву ради этой войны.
Подумать только, воскрешение такого персонажа, он всю жизнь только и делал что убивал да кричал, но тут он стал настоящим отцом, пожертвовав целым миром ради сына.
Эта игра божественна во всех своим смыслах. Персонажи живые и запоминающиеся. Фрейю люблю больше всего)
