Elden Ring Confessor Class Guide - How to Build a Paladin (Beginner Guide)

Doing a paladin right now, at lvl 31 so far with sacred blade, still using Heater sheild to avoid dumping points into strength so I could focus on damage a bit more but definitly regretting it lol

Id like it if you showed us the stats at a higher level so we ca aim for that and know what to put into each onen

Farm a lordsworn's straight sword while getting brass shield; long sword with dagger criticals! Present in all souls games (different named item, but same stats and same enemy type drops it)

since elden ring introduces guard counter, I would like to try a blocking based character. And I like to assist other players woth bosses so faith is nice, prob try this build when I get the game

Oooh men, i thought ah a nice beginners build. But was i wrong, oh i was so wrong. To get the war ash for the shield you have to defeat a knight. A VERY STRONG KNIGHT. I spent 2.3 ouwers on that fight. Dying and dying and dying. But because i was to stubborn i didn't gif up. AND finely I DID IT. Now i really hope its woth it because i will loose it if it isn't

do you have any tips for killing the night's cavalry

I did not get the barricade shield ash when I killed that cavalier. Does anybody known why this could have happened ?

I really like this build but the fact that the most of the bosses have holy resistance scares me. Any thoughts how good is this for a playthrough?

I got full godrik knight armour before I got the shield

Vagabond has better stats for min max since it has lower arcane and intelligence

Im new to the game and i want this class cause its looks dope with the cape and want a greataxe.

Should i boost vigor first to around 20 and than boost strength?

I just bought Elden Ring a couple weeks ago and I noticed from reading around and watching videos that the barricade shield got nerfed. Is the barricade shield worth using still? If not how can I alter this build to be as effective as possible.

I got the golden wow on my weapon,but cant use it,playing on pc :)tried shift and LMB but nothing happens. And thanks for a great starter video,played Samurai,Warrior,Astrologer,but feeling better whit this one :)

I chose the confessor because I based my elden ring character on a dnd character I made. An oath of vengeance paladin and I’m loving the incantations and holy damage I get from him

How do I increase my stats ?? Like how do I get my vigor from 10 to 15??

I play as Confessor without any guide and pretty much have the same idea, but after 48 hours my save data corrupted T_T

If anyone is having trouble with the knights calvery boss for the shield ash skill, I used fireball incantation while riding torrent to easily take down this boss. You can buy the fireball incantation from the incantation merchant in the roundtable for 800 runes.

I found this one sacred Ash of war that shoots a wave out of your sword for a ranged attack and then leaves a holy damage buff on your weapon for a few seconds after have found this very handy

Me and my brother have a inside joke about touching grace being touching grass

I think Vagabond is better for this build because they are more minmaxed. They have less points in arcane and thus you can optimize putting points into all other stats including intelligence for Golden Order spells. The down side to this is that you will miss out on dragon and blood incantations and bubble sorceries.

I started using this build in my series and it changed the direction of my whole series! From 70 deaths on Margret the Fell to rocking through stormveil castle!

What is that helmet? Trying to find a helmet and good armour for this build.

Made my mimic tear a incant wizard healer.Does wielding a dual seal boost incant power?

Is barricade still good or did it get nerfed to the point it’s not worth the effort to get?

I like to play my Paladin with Zweihänder and Sacred Blade...the investment in str is worth it for the nice weapon

Took me awhile to get good using the samurai. As a person that hadn't played a Souls game since the first one, going to Caelid was the best/worst trial by fire XD got good at killing mages in Sellia though
