I did a few tours in Afghanistan. The government was so corrupted, the Afghan army who we would refer to as the Taliban rejects. We never could get them to preform a battle drill correctly. I was on a lot of kill capture missions. When we would have the commandos lead they would constantly fire with out aiming, they would stop in the door ways! their organization and team work was hideous.

The fact that we pulled out of Afghanistan is basically spitting on the graves of the nato and afghan soldiers that fought there for 20 years. I’m embarrassed as a soldier to be led under these politicians

I just got back from Afghanistan. Kandahar was one of the places I visited. There were Taliban everywhere. Barely any women in sight.

I was there with NATO in the buildup of the surge over a decade ago now.
This country really deserves peace ,I really hope with time some of the wounds can heal.

I still remember How much I cried when Taliban took over. I was sad just for our Army. They did their best but the politicians sold them out. 😢
