Genshin Impact – How to Fix Crashing, Lagging, Freezing – Complete Tutorial

Hello, I have a major issue when I play Genshin.

I am trying to start the client but when I hit the loading screen where you choose which server to play on, the frames get choppy and the system lags very violently. And when I get into the game I cannot move my character or access the settings or menu.

I have tried fixing the files, and am currently trying to reinstall the game but now the client on windows lags as well.

I have recently upgraded my windows due to it being outdated and have redownloaded Genshin once before since all my files on Genshin on both my C and D drive have been wiped.

or do I need to get a gun and tear apart that computer repair shop?
