i got genuinely annoyed when the raycons segment came on T^T
theyre sooo bass boosted its hard to use

for me: ATH-M20xBT at home, mostly wired, ATH-SQ1TW for my phone, really good on the bus, they're basically earplugs so they block most noise pretty well when playing music. KZ ZSN Pro X iems for my ipod, they feel pretty narrow, sound wise but they do the job and they're really detailed for a pair of £20 earbuds.

Audiophile community is the breeding ground of snake oil salesmen, where grown up dudes will swear by the fact that their pure silver copper cable folded a thousand times using authentic japanese technique that they brought for the reasonable price of 100,000$ definitely makes their headphones sound better and was a worth purchase.

1. Skullcandy I love the bass even with crusher off
2. Sony good anc and sound quality, pretty expensive tho
3. Soundcore same as Sony but cheaper
4. Tozo is actually really good for the price! Anc headphones with good bass and soundstage for 30 bucks!?

I hate beats so much, they are only popular because of Dr Dre and Apple support, they would be bankrupt without it. there ZERO BASS, they are SOOOO overpriced, they aren’t even comforatable! The treble hurts your ears! The Spatial Audio, and anc (which is average) are the ONLY redeeming factors!

KB EAR, KB EAR!

I was blown away by how bad the Beats over ear headphones suck. The one I tried was the newest and “greatest” headphone. Not only did they sound worse than some $200 CAD headphones out there, but they also were just very uncomfortable. Had to return them ASAP.

I spend a bit of money on my 30+ Headphones just to use speakers ._.
Or my 15€ apple earpods...

interestingly enough i have a pair of Sennheiser headphones, the pxc 550 ii, that have an app to change all your settings and stuff including some basic audio settings, like reverb, bass, soundstage, and one or two other things. those changes actually get saved into local storage of the device and theoretically, once you set those settings you never need an app ever again to use those headphones. the very nice side effect of this is you dont NEED an app on your phone to change the profile of them and when you connect it to your pc, laptop, or literally any other device, your profile is still there! very nice feature 10/10, the headphones are breaking and im considering buying again

I hated the idea of wireless headphones at first but man,
I don’t want to go back. For me those wired headphones never lasted that long anyways. Always the left earbud would go out. It used to be so bad, I would connect two “bad” earphones into a double AUX port just to hear music from left and right. It was so tacky.
AirPods got so many people into the audiophile space or just caring about better audio. It was a mass effect, I think.
And yeah some people hate that AirPods don’t have a separate app but I LOVE that they don’t. I don’t want a damn separate app for just some headphones. No thanks.
