Smita dear!!!!you didn't fry the peanuts...won't the rawness affect the flavor???
ОтветитьI make this every Wed and Sat as i fast both days ,last 20 yrs ,all gorge on this ,first fry peanuts and then do your waghar or tadka of jeera kadhipatta, also try adding half a cup of slightly sour (just for tanginess) towards the end along with the sugar and a spoon of jeera powder, taste the dramatic flavour , try adding tiny bits of potato, sweet potato ,tiny cheerleli parval when you are roasting the bhagar , in our Gujarati community we call it moraiya chi ghens(मोरया ची घेंस )
ОтветитьTo add to richness or giving a royal touch ,do a second tadka of jeera , कढी पत्ता in ghee with some chilly powder sprinkled on the bhagar that's ready to be served , ,decorate with fried cashews

ОтветитьSmith ji Gratitude for bringing so easy and healthy recipes with your sweet smile, humble request to you do give little more nutritional info about our these super grains like Barnyard (varai) rice like it's so protein rich for each cup that's like per 100gms it has 7.7gm protein in it , same is with Amaranth (Rajgira) it's full of imp minerals and vitamins like lysine which's in found in nonveg food they're so gd we only recognise them as upvas che food no one has taught us about it's health benefits more over they're super grains we need too eat them in small quantity that's why they are not eaten daily ,once in 11days that's ekadashi or when ever we're fasting but we do over eating on fasting days ,our Sanatan fasting are science base,do give it a try by adding little veggies in khichdi instead of plain like grated dudhi or yellow pumpkin in small quantity for making them more nutritions and looks gd too and serving it with Rajgira dahi curry.🤩🌹👌
ОтветитьReally nutritious recipe 👌😋 thanks for sharing. Is barnyard millet known as samo seeds ( moriyo ) ?
