Collect for the system YOU care about. If you have no real connection for the NES, then why spend your money on that?
If you're passionate about the X-Box, then start there. It's also dirt cheap to collect for. You might want to expand your horizons down the line... But there shouldn't be any pressure. Collect the games for the system YOU like. My collection consists mainly of PS2 and PS3 games, 'cause they were the ones I grew up on. I also quite a few PS1 and PS4 games. Recently started collecting for the Switch and GameCube, as I never owned a Nintendo console before. My first Nintendo console was the Switch, and I was in my 30's. (Well, I still am.)

PS3 is such a great console. But but what about The Last of Us?
Xbox OG is a great console and probably my fav Xbox console. It’s not cheap but if you haven’t played Obscure, it’s so good. I know you’re not a big survival horror fan but it’s couch co-op!
Xbox 360 is definitely great too and Scott and Alex loved the Gears series.
I really enjoy the ds as well. Again though, I just want to play all the scary games 😂

An old neighbour named Bill lived next to me in a block of flats. He had a young Philippines wife and two young boys. They didn't have much money, and I Was working lots and just bought a PS3, this was 2012.

So, I gave away my X-box to the two kids, with all my games except one (Burn Out)....About 55 games and tge Xbox console....Yep, gave them all away to make these kids happy....Looking back now, it seems nuts as there Waa some rare games now and considered retro now but at tge time I wanted to be kind and the joy it brought them was amazing, and I loved Bill my neighbour and his young family.
