Thanks for this, I can actually see my debian server on the active directory domain controller but when on a linux client on the same network cannot get through authentication, using username: domain\username and the pw, --> sorry password authentication didn't work. please try again.

Why is Ubuntu so fuckin complicated. When you Install the os you can choose to join a Domain or Not. But afterwards...Nooo use the terminal. Circumstantial af.

I do all the same but when i restart i'm not prompted for a login into the domain like "Others". Only i can enter with the local users.
