The kneecapper effect is one of, if not the weakest legendary effect aside from Medic.

Why would I want a kneecapper gun when the "instigating" effect exists. Two shot gauss rifle is bad compared to the instigating. Literal double, if not triple the damage, even more with sneaking and headshot. But instead you suggest going for the kneecaps and doubleshotting them after?

There's a reason why some people have a hard time with this game and it's advice like this.

i got the explosive minigun in my first playthrough (current one cause im new) from a feral goul legendary at level 9 and i still haven't shot a single bullet from it cause im running vats melee

Pretty cool. Never watched any FO videos and I have all these guns and use them regularly. The kneecapped, shotgun and mini gun are crazy op. Some explosive magnums and two shot snipers are insane as well. Also sneak weapons with stealthboy are dope especially pistols with poison and a silencer.

I came across the explosive mini gun today doing one of those rogue robot missions, and it was dropped by a legendary tankbot. I'm going to give it to one of the Minute men at the Castle because I'm happy with my Kiloton Radium Rifle.

I prefer the wounded double barrel shotgun, super op

Only the real ones know the laser musket is the more overpowered than any other weapon

nope. the explosive combat rifle is the most op weapon all around. with perks and the right modifications added you can have a gun that at any range cripples and eats through every enemy. it has easily obtained ammo as everyone sells it. you can kit it out to have no recoil. make it automatic so the already devastating damage is rapid fire. large clip size and fast reloading. the explosive tends to stagger foes. decent weight to have in inventory... it is just hands down the only gun you need in all of fallout at every level.

Personally use the explosive shotgun over the minigun because i dont play heavy run n gun playstyle. I like to get sneaky. Now... whats better than a demolitions expert explosive shotty?....
A demolition's expert explosive shotty, that gets the benefit of the Sneak/Ninja/Cloak and Dagger sneak attack bonus.

If y have thought to love mods in fallout 4 if y do not have any of the dlcs then in your game the main menu go to mods and there y will have the best legendary weapons of any kind without having to go to the trouble of obtaining them then the cheat room is the BEST CHOICE Y HAVE download it and your going to be the most power survivor in the game and also there are the best mods for that same reason but also has overpowered weapons

Explosive shotgun is horrible ..sadly was my 1st legendary but I just dont like it at all ...

See.... For me... It's putting the Lorenzo's artifact on a legendary gamma gun. Max out nuclear physicist, pistol and explosives perk..... My God people it's the best gun in the game

Spray N' Pray is so fun to use when you're up against the hundreds of Synths coming at you at once that you have to fight if you immediately kill Father in the Institute. Especially with Demolitions Expert 4, it's very satisfying to watch as all of the Synths just die immediately. Or for any of you PC players, you can just spawn hundreds upon hundreds of enemies on you and just absolutely destroy them with Spray N' Pray. Honestly I like rapid fire weapons with the explosive legendary effect more than I like shotguns with the explosive legendary effect.

I have explosive handmade, explosive mini gun, explosive combat shotgun, never ending db. All in one character

Never ending double barrel shotgun is the most rarest item in game to drop from a legendary. The only way you could get it easy (boring and just no skill trying) way is concord sewer 3 radroaches one of them has always a legendary double barrel between lvl 6 and 10 never ending spawns the most. If you did not done this every kill you make on a legendary above lvl 25 = 0.08% to get the weapon with the legendary effect

Bro. I got a crippling flame thrower , I let my m8 use it AND THEY CRIPPLE ANY TARGET IN SECONDS then I walk circles around them sinking 2x damage harpoons unto them
BTW, my 2x damage harpoon gun , how my character is setup my 1st shot DOES 1200 DAMAGE !!!

My favorite generic legendaries are the ones that do 25% more damage, & the explosive/freezing/incendiary ones bc they add 15 points of damage to any guns. The ones that do 50% more damage against certain enemies are always good too - especially ones for super mutants, but also for bugs & mirelurks. As for apparel, the best generic legendaries are the ones that slow time, reduce damage against certain enemies (especially humans & mutants), & the ones that add strength for extra carry weight.

I got a plasma infused plasma rifle and a freezing shishkabob . Most powerful weapon I ever found was a double shot plasma rifle.

I got the explosive shot gun in early game from a super mutant. The whole game spoiled. I use that shotgun for 70 hours till end game.

The "Explosive Minigun" is an insane weapon.

I kinda have the explosive minigun well i got it randomly from a lagendary enemy when i was just trying to save strong and rex at tritny tower

Heres a shitty legendary i found, "ghoul slaying gamma gun" yup i got a gamma gun with ghoul slaying, for those who dont know gamma guns use radiation and ghouls heal from radiation, yea you can see how shitty it is

I have a Violent Gauss Rifle (+25% damage and limb damage) and with it being Suppressed, with max out sneak perks and US Covert Ops, it does over 2k damage per shot and can one-shot a Mirelurk Queen!

Also, an Explosive Minigun is brokenly OP in this game. I, funnily enough, got mine being dropped from a Bloatfly of all things... a giant bug carrying that behemoth of a weapon!
