Funny how they used the same actor for 4 out of the 7 fighters. Even the actor who impersonified Liu Kang was the same for Shang Tsung. Were they that broke when they created MK in '92 ?

Yeah it’s hard to even describe to kids how hard this went back in the day. Just lining up in a physical line to play this at the arcade.

I sincerely love this game , it's full of bug and the gameplay isn't really the best but it's the only MK that gives a sense of crude and visceral, the characters are not full of steroids or fancy outfits, have no combos and the blows are more lethal. I still think the MK2 is the best but MK is something.

MK 1 - 3 had such a soul to them, it was so new and mind blowing when it first came out...plus all the little easter eggs were awesome.
