Thank you!!!! Great tutorial. This was my second Hackintosh build. The first (z370, 9th Gen) was fairly easy but I was really struggling to get the new z490, 10th gen to even install the OS. I'm up and running in one day, everything is working except on board ethernet (temporary fix is a USB/Ethernet adapter). Thanks again, this is the best tutorial I've come across.

Tienes alguna idea de porque no me funciona? Probe de todo y no funciona. Mi hardwares es : Intel i5 7600/MSI B250M-Gaming Pro/8gb ram/SSD. Lo que me sucede es que arranca y llega hasta la manzanita con pantalla todo en rosa y luego pantalla negra. En otros metodos que probe, logro pasar la pantalla negra y llegar a la instalacion y luego mientras esta descargando el SO al llegar al 3 minutes left se cuelga y no sale de alli. . . Me podrias ayudar?

I am having issues getting Mount EFI to work. I open the program and select the number for the install mac osx catalina USB stick and hit enter. Instead of prompting me for a password it goes back to the main entry screen. Doesn't give me a failed message like when I try to type in a false entry... almost acts like it just refreshes. It's driving me nuts, because I am not really sure what steps to take to correct this. I also have tried restarting, recreating my vanilla boot loader, and tried re-downloading mount EFI.

I bought the EFI from technoli for my board/gpu, so I am ready to go on that end. But kind of useless if I can't get the partition to show.

Version of Catalina is 10.15.7 that I downloaded for my boot loader.... Currently working inside of 10.11.6 El Capitan on my current mac to try and execute all of this.

Any thoughts or pointers?

I am using this computer for music like cubase and whit my Appollo ..all is good but I wish to get the noise down , so I’d like to use the onboard GPU and get this Rx580 out of my système .. is there a simple fix for it and also I need more thunderbolt input so I purchase the pcie GC titan ridge 2.0 .. can’t I have a fix for both of theme please

Any one know what the deal is with display port not working in Catalina? I'm using this build and guide with i9 10900k and Nvidia Titan Black (Which should work turnkey). I don't get display port with the Titan Black or with Intel 630 IGPU. Any ideas anyone???

thanks for these videos - very very helpful - i installed big sur on a comet lake dell xps 8940 - with a radeon 560 graphics card...i am able to get hdmi audio from the card but for some reason i cant make the system see the onboard audio device (realtek 3861 - which i believe is codec ALC899)...i have tried multiple audio layouts and nothing......everything else seems to work perfectly.....i have followed the guide and get all the boxes to check green for the config plist / OC sanity checker 0.63.....is there something obvious i may be missing?

Were you able to get Ethernet working on this mainboard? I didn't see you go over that. My WiFi works fine, but I have no ethernet :/
