Zoom H1 vs. H4N Pro - Which is MORE worth it?!

The zoom H1 has less noise than the H4n pro. It really disappointed me.

For recording guitar and trying to make a song would the 4 track on the h4n dominate the little brother, and built in guitar effects

put the rode videomic pro closer to your mouth ( above your head out of frame is a typical solution )

Can I record my audio from Samson q2u as an mp3 file into Zoom h4n? In other words, can I record my audio without using the computer if I have Samson q2u and Zoom h4n? I do not want to use PC to record it as I have windows 10, and it has bugs accommodating the microphones. Please help?

I don't use my Zoom H4n PRO much because of my type of video (TOY R/C Model Planes) where I need someone to figure a way for my Canon XA-30 or T5i to take my H4n PRO from pause to record and back to pause as I press the Record/Pause button on the camera. I have the Wired Remote for the H4n PRO but need the H4n PRO better synced with the Record/Pause of my camera as there many shots are very short 3 to 10 seconds and as many shots as 25 to 30 or more in a single flight. and can be of different aircraft. So you can see the synchronization of audio can be very time consuming if not at all impossible. Any help out there PLZ.

They both have good sound (and equal white noise) not much diffrence apart from xlr inputs on h4n and some other features
And the audio pre amp in h4n has more power, meaning it deliver more quiet sound from longer distance
Apart from that you pretty much get the same sound from both
I bought both👍
But the zoom h1n is pretty much with me all the time due to its extreme light weight

Hi, I am undecided between H2N and H4NPro. I understand the H4NPro has the surround effect if other microphones are connected. With the H2N it is possible to have a 2 / 4CH surround with its integrated microphones. What do I need to do to use what advice? I register events, excursions, dialogues and film my children. Do you want to tell us which would be more worth. But after your vedio, I do not know either! You said Zoom H4N Pro was so sweet but almost $200. Zoom H1 was ok, just $100. Do you mean Zoom H1 was ok, just $100 would be more worthy?
