ОтветитьI keep watching John I'm learning so much from your great video tuts 😁
ОтветитьThanks for the useful tips, especially with the camera and microphone settings. I found it helpful.
ОтветитьThe Giant Squid lav mic sounds so much better. It appears to be discontinued though using your link.
What other mic would you recommend? How did you record it and use phantom power?
U r a game changer
ОтветитьHow to I check on audacity if the volume is -6db?
ОтветитьGreat simple practical instructions… nice
ОтветитьThis is absolutely amazing! Thank you so much!😍🥰
ОтветитьInteresting video. Can I use a similar setup with a smartphone? Thanks😊
ОтветитьGreat info. Thank you.
ОтветитьExcellent video , very much informative and understandable
ОтветитьThank you Chinese man!! ❤️
ОтветитьThis would be the perfect product if they would fix their auto record function to stop when no more sound is heard. It'll start as soon as sound is heard at a chosen dB threshold but it'll keep recording until you manually shut it off. Firmware can fix this and it's simply a post record time they need to add. I bought this partly to record a dog whining and barking. I want to catch the barking and whining sessions and nothing else i.e. record will stop once silence plus a few seconds and will begin to record again when sound heard again.
ОтветитьGreat video and now I know what that 1kHz signal was for. I calibrated my X-S10 and I'm right in the sweet spot now. Question: The H1n ships with two sets of stereo mini cables. One for Fuji Sony and Panasonic etc. and the other for Canon and Nikon. Can you explain the difference between the cables?
ОтветитьThank you for the great explanation! I have a zoom HN1 iand so i dont need to buy another Mic plus getting a safety track!
ОтветитьGreat video, very informative ! Thank you so much ! 👍🏼 I'm gonna try this on my Lumix GX8 camera (with very poor built-in microphone), so I can finally achieve decent ukulele videos, lol.
Ответитьdoes this work on the lumix g9?
ОтветитьThank you for your knowledge sharing
ОтветитьMany thanks for this tutorial, especially the part where you explain how to calibrate to your camera using the test tone.
ОтветитьBrilliant. Great demo. Saving up right now :)
ОтветитьI put mic volume down. Now I can't hear anything when I upload clips on my computer
ОтветитьVery cool ! Well explained ! Thank you for sharing !
ОтветитьThank you for this video, really helpful! One quick question though. I understand you mentioned the application as vlogging. The setting I intend to use this setup is for outdoor events (mostly car meets and airshow), and usually my Canon SX60 ends up catching more wind noise and the audience noises than the actual car or fighter jet (since its almost always very windy). Does Zoom H-1 protect well against that? Or do I need some sort of wind noise reducer or some other equipment for that?
Ответитьhow to do adr post dialogur recording using this h1n and premiere pro
ОтветитьGreat tutorial
Ответитьso when i hit record button, will there be delay in audio or video or mismatch?
ОтветитьNot to sound ... Too snobbish ... I apologise if anyone is offended but it's called Cold shoe ... Hot shoe (can communicate with the camera) is the mount of a flash .cold shou don't communicate with the cam
ОтветитьThanks a lot 😊
It works perfectly with GH5!
So easy, but why on the earphone jack and not the microphone jack...😑
I have to sync my video concert of last week and the audio from gh5 is all saturated 😅
So...Vintage style to sync mys rushes 🥺
Hi John! If I had my recorder set on my camera and I turn off my camera, will I have to redo all the settings again?
ОтветитьYou answered my question perfectly - can I record on the zoom and my camera at the same time. Yes I can. Thank you!
ОтветитьI wish my lumix tz70 had line in for microphone. Can you suggest me the most basic camera with line in for microphone?
ОтветитьI just found your channel will you be my best friend
ОтветитьGood sir. Thanks for this video.
ОтветитьWhat patch cord are you using? You mention viewers would find it below, but I don't see it. Thanks!
ОтветитьThe TEST TONE trick is a total game changer - thanks!
ОтветитьCan i connect the external microphone to the recorder after connecting to the camera? Will it use the recorder pre amp?
ОтветитьThanks for your review. Great details, Sir🙏
Where did you buy the Blue Model. Don't see 8t on their Website. I need it in blue, to match my equipment. Thank you. I have subscribed to your channel, for your future reviews. Bless you 🙏
Learned something with the audio adjustments. Thanks!
ОтветитьWhat is the microphone you're actually using the record this video? I noticed that there was a drop in quality when you switched to the zoom/camera set to show how it would sound.
ОтветитьThank's...! this is very really helps me a lot because i'm a freelance videographer and i've been having trouble with bad sound quality from my on-board camera microphone, Frome Indonesia..NAF Drone
ОтветитьThank you John I wish more external mic videos were this straight foward man
ОтветитьYou mean we need trs to trs 3.5mm to make it work?
ОтветитьGreat video super informative
ОтветитьGreat video. I Just got a h1n. Thank you for the straight to the point, easy to understand video 🙏
ОтветитьThank you for the great video! Can you share the link to get your tripod you are using in this video? I think the link in your description got expired
ОтветитьHow about outside and windnoise?
ОтветитьThank John, its works with my action cam plug in to my zoom h1 so i dont have to get it together at post production...this is awesome!
