theres no game.ini in steamcfg server where do i past the values u gave, u confused me, i only see gameusersettings.ini??

playing on single player, yet my spyglass doesnt show me dino lvls is there a setting i need to change or is this just a random bug ?

Thank you so much for this :) What are the general settings to stop dino decay happening or building decay (the oil well especially) at 2 days & dinos at 7 days; and lowering food consumption - or in Single player it doesn't matter? I have a game running on a server which I can stop when I am away, though it stops others from freeplay. :)

Can anyone help? My GPU is an AMD RADEON rx 6600 and I can't get more than 30fps even with everything on low, and using the cloud command, lumen command, and all other commands I could find to help get past the 2fps I started at 😢

Just a heads up, only the 40’s series graphics cards have frame generation. Anything lower doesn’t. So that option won’t be there or will say “not supported” unless you have a 40’s series graphics card.

When I set Disable HLOD to On I get 50% boost in fps

Is no one going to mention how the resolution scale is only at 80%? How much does it tank with even a 4090 if you put the resolution scaling to 100%

Just to let you know. I have Windows 10 Pro and a Asus Geforce RTX 3070 and after I enabled the Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in my settings the game came back and said that it's not supported.

Here's another boost for people whose cards struggle, like mine. It's not a setting in any menu, it's 2 you can implement yourself, and will at times have to reapply. You will have to hit the tilde key (next to the 1 key on the top of your keyboard), it will open text at the bottom, type r.volumetriccloud 0, and r.volumetricfog 0, that will free up frames used up by clouds and fog that we who struggle don't need. <<<<< Burton Ernie

I get perfectly fine FPS but I crash every 10 minutes. Even faster if I have frame generation on.

Why does it say that frame generation is not supported? I have a 3070...

Has anybody noticed that, when playing on Hard difficulty your Dinos do like half the damage than usual? They gain way worse Stats when leveling. I wouldnt mind, but i dont know If Dinos will even be capable of beating Bosses on Beta/Alpha

Should be noted and mentioned in your commentary that frame generation only works for 40xx cards, saying it helps lower end cards is only true for 40xx cards

Great guide video! My fps went through the roof when I turned frame generation on, but my game keeps crashing every 30-50 min or so and this has been an issue even before I turned frame generation on. Do you perhabs know some reasons to why this is happening? Again, awesome guide. Keep it up!

I get 60fps with rtx3070ti just by setting all foliage stuff off and reducing shadows medium view. Setting rtx to performance. I still haven’t set hardware frames on

Hey just a heads up, the stats per level for health and damage on tamed dinos is different from the default settings on the hard preset difficulty setting.

4090 is a $2500 card here in Canada. My 3070 is like playing old ark with my 970 and it was not cheap. Hardware way to costly for the performance

I have a AMD 10K series cpu, 6600 XT GPU, plenty of RAM and man....I had to turn it to low settings and get rid of Fog and Clouds and water reflection to get 70FPS. My PCis setting easily in the middle of required and recommended so I shouldnt have to go so low. Frustrating.

Frame Generation does bump fps on weaker systems, but input delay will make it a horrible experience.
