I thought this song was on the SSX3 (2000) soundtrack but turns out it was on the SSX (2012) soundtrack and I forgot I even had that game. This song has been stuck in my head for SO LONG and I could not figure out for the life of me what it was. I finally found it on reddit after googling "song with yeahyeahyeahyeah in chorus".

I found this because of the video for furry ski weekend 2022 and now I hear this and think: "Why does this sound like something you would hear on a Forza Horizon radio station?"

In 2012 I was glued to SSX. Went on vacation to New York to visit for my first time. Had the best spring break ever and this song was the main song I listened to. Now I only listen for a bit of nostalgia, as to not ruin what it does for me now.

This song has crack in it, and I’ve been addicted for a very long time.

This is the kind of song you listen to with your eyes closed. Snippets of your youth you forgot about come forward in the form of a bittersweet nostalgia. It's hard to listen to, but still I play it on repeat because each time I do I feel like I'm transported back in time to a happier place where life's cruelty hasn't touched yet. It makes you miss something you can't put your finger on.

The first time I heard this song was my freshman year in high school (oh god 10 years ago?) when me and my best friend skipped school for no reason other than to be together and explore different parts of the city. I can still smell the crisp autumn air mixed with restaurants cooking their lunch specials. I can still feel the wind blowing through my hair as we swung in a playground's swing set and the drop of my stomach when I jumped off from the top. My chest constricting from lack of oxygen from the case of giggles we both had after sharing a joint and making fun of a group of douchebags that thought they were the coolest things to walk the earth.

I remember this so vividly because of this song, but also because I first realized my feelings for him, even though it was never meant to be. He's been married to his husband for almost 2 years now and I couldn't be happier for him. 💖

This song has a powerful vibe to it. I listened to it almost daily when I was a pre-teen growing up in the early 2000's
I'm a old ass adult now and I hadn't listened to this song in years and I couldn't hold back the tears. I just broke down crying, very few songs do that to me.
But even back then the nostalgia & pain this song holds was pretty intense. When you listen to it for the first time you remember a memory that never happened, kind of like what that song "HOME" does though I forget the artist. It's not until you're older and have realized just how brutal and unforgivable life can be that this song finally means something. It takes you back to your earliest childhood memories and brings intense confusing mixed emotions to your inner child.
Ok now as I'm typing this out I just realized something else, what I described is a "Flashback" so that's EXACTLY what this song is! This song is the living embodiment of a Flashback! And if you ask me it's a pretty perfect explanation of it as well. Because Flashbacks are confusing powerful mixed emotions just like this song. But the one thing that's always at the forefront of both, painful nostalgia. God I love this song so fucking much.
