The ethics thing in this video was really dumb. In order to hack something remotely, it has to be on a network, which there's no reason why bionic parts would be connected to the internet. Not unless the designers are evil, and want to make the patient be on a subscription plan to use their arm.

This is just incredible. A bright shine of hope for all who lost an limp. Also it takes a bit of fear, if something ever happen to oneself.

Hopefully this will be redundant technology in the future, if we can figure out regenerative medicine to the point of regrowing a limb.

i wish they would give Mary Vincent these arms!!! she lost both her arms and almost her life by killer Lawrence Singleton when she was 15 yrs old,and has struggled because of poverty just to get replacement claws.

I think there is a chance that peoples who are conservatives start to hate bionic humans and so a bionic phobia would emerge, and as well as the hate grow the violence would grow
So like Black peoples then gay then trans there might be laws against bionic peoples (then against pure robots ) only because of hate and disguised as « protection towards normal peoples »
That’s my take, but there is a scenario where the opposite happens and biologics peoples are ostracized as well as a best scenario where everyone stop fucking hate each other and live

I do agree I need one I can still feel my hand and can move one finger one at a time and my thumb. I can feel myself put my hand in a fist even though it’s not here. It’s not hard buttoning your clothes or tying your shoe or other things you just have to learn how to.
