looks great! by any chance have you considered some sort of generative AI for the dialogue for the NPC's? it would be fantastic to be able to speak a natural language question and not have the same one or two canned answered repeated every time, while staying in context and and within game parameters. for a demo on that, check out how they did that for skyrim in a mod. there are a lot of videos on that. doesn't seem that difficult and makes a world of difference. the challenge would be in keeping the characters up to date with current environment variables.

So you would take off for another star and then learn about the ship? That's a little backwards.

One tip/suggestion vs Elite Dangerous. Its star jumping and fuel scooping were nice elements. But THE MOST annoying aspect was traveling within a system that sometimes took an hour from one end to the other. Could you make quick travel INSIDE a solar system work well? Maybe extremely fast or “jumping “ from star to planet/ station?

Will this be a PC only game or will consoles have a chance with it? Online required or both on and offline play? Looks interesting. When can we expect to play the game?
