Buying From AliExpress is NOT Safe (Unless You Do This)

Ali express trick you, they show you a cheap price but show you different quantities, you really have to be careful when clicking, You cant get cheap from China as all factories buy their material off the Government which has a set price so if you negotiate cheaper the Quality will go down

Buyer protection is kind of fishy.... If you order two of something and only receive one of two items, you'll NOT have any compensation. It happened me! The tracked parcel contained the package with only one item. Since they see that the order has been delivered, you can't do anything!

Temu is so much better. A tiny bit more expensive for most things but effortless free returns on everything and excellent customer service. Getting refunded on Aliexpress and dealing with their customer service is a hassle and nightmare

2 years back I got ripped US $123 and aliexpress never helped. I even provided full documentations. But I have ordered successfully from Aliexpress at other times.

On the contrary, the scam reached the company level. I have been buying from them since 14 years ago, that's about my experience. Beyond the classic tricks of the sellers, since a year, Aliexpress shipping is also deceiving you. it shows you that the package has been delivered, or that you have not picked it up, although it has not even entered the country of destination. This with tracking available. The only way, relatively safe, is to buy from your country (any EU if you are from Europe) warehouse. In which case, shipping is provided by local couriers and you can complain to the sender. Refund? I didn't see the money back even with official documents issued by customs, because it didn't even come to them.

Shopping from ali express since 2013, brought more than 700 items, become a platinum member now. Never had any problems. When i didn't received item or it's damaged , they always refund money.

I’ve been buying for the last two years from AliExpress. I’ll support the claim that 98% you’ll get what you order and if you know what you are buying makes it a much better place to buy from. I’d had some vendors bend over backwards to resolve any problems but then again there are companies that suck on quality and service.
I bought a carbon filter and it never arrived, I contacted the seller and filed a claim but was told that the claim was rejected! Even though I never received the item nor does it show ever arriving.
Bottom line buy only Shay you are knowledgeable about and do not jeopardize and more money on a purchase that you can not afford to lose.😊

but aliexpress lies also as they do not always stand by their advertising of buyer protection. it is arbitrary and fickle even when you present evidence. i would not recommend them except for purchases you just can't find anywhere else and don't purchase often or you will get scammed/burned sooner than later by a scam seller as there are many more than the real or good ones.

AliExpress is in China. China makes cheap products and scams people. Thus Aliexpress is a scam.

I have been buying from Aliexpress for a while, with no issues until March 2023. I ordered, and I still have not received my items, and it is now July 2023. The items were shipped and arrived in my town, but then my items were sent from the post office to a third party here on my town, and it's just sitting there. I tried calling the third party multiple times with no answer. I have not ordered from them again because I don't want my items shipped to a third party again. I would have rather picked up my items from the post office myself. It's rediculous!

WARNING : I did not expect AliExpress to just steal my money.
Ordered goods were declared as undeliverable ( incomprehensible) and sent back by the carrier. ( Notice in the tracking ). AliExpress simply closed the claim and withheld the amount.
I can only warn against this scam.

Unfortunately Aliexpress, after 4 fays going back and forth with supplier and dispute with Aliexpress itself, ended up with them not accepting my complaint: purchased watch with 100m water resistance stopped working after i went swimming with it. I sent various videos and messages but this is not Amazon! beware!

Buyers protection 🤔 I've purchased a tool and received a cheap sponge. AliExpress closed my dispute in favour to seller as I received goods. Total BS as I didn't order a piece of sponge. When you receive goods that you have ordered it's ok however now this has happened to me twice within 10 purchase. eBay is way safer

i have received broken item, aliexpress refuse refund or item return, claiming that i can glue it back together, they didn't allow me to return the item .

Bought an item for $150 and wasn't what I wanted. Requested a return and refund and was provided a pre-paid return label. A few hours after I dropped it off at the post office, I was board and checked the tracking and it said "Fraudulant postage" which means the postal service will confiscate it which I confirmed this when I went back to the post office and they would not give me the package back. Now I'm out of the item and the seller is telling me AliExpress is the one who provided the pre-paid return label so we will have to wait on their decision. Never had this issue with eBay.

Worst customer service ever 2 months packages not arrive they keep you giving you new dates until the 90 days protection end. Last time a seller send to another person completely different address but since tracking only said city and country they said I received. Had to contact postal service get evidence that I didn't received it because they refused to investigate to keep protecting scammers. Took almost 4 months to get money back. Now 2 months waiting for a simple jacket. Avoid buying here if you need your item for a gift. If you can wait 4 months for it then you are ok but think what company needs you to wait 90 days to protect you amd give you your money back when more than a month from expected day has gone by.
