Heusinkveld Sprint Pedal Mod

I have the first version of the Sprint Elastomer kit and wanted to upgrade to the newest version. I normal run 50KG of force and see the ones in the video recommend 40KG. Great idea but, is the max brake force limited to only 40KG? I have seen the new kit for $31.99 USA. With that being said, I see theses kit from $50 to $58 that seems kinds steep to me. Great mod but, feeling it's way over priced. Sorry, I may just go buy the upgraded ones from Heusinkveld or buy a 3d printer. Thanks for sharing

Heusinkveld is also selling upgrade-rubbers for the Sprints to their "latest injection molded thermoset brake elastomers" for less than this mod. So would be interesting to know how they compete. I replaced the V1 elastomers for my Ultimates with a beefy compression spring I first bought for my rig-suspension and IMO great improvement (I could even see in lap-times). After a while I was curious how the new HE-rubbers feel and bought the upgrade kit. I was now testing both long enough to say they are equally good and rather a matter of taste. The stiffness of springs are measured in N/mm and if you brake fully with 60 kg, a spring with 60 N/mm should do roughly 10 mm compression. I tried 55 and 66 N/mm springs and prefer the 55 ones because they provide more travel similar to HE soft rubbers (on Ultimates).

Before I've tried the upgrade-kit I was planning to sell a spring-kit myself with some 3D-printed parts to make them fit, but now I think it's not worth it. But I'm using my old spring-mod since this week again and think it's worth a few bucks to try. I can't decide which solution I find better, but tend for the springs because they are better in transmitting shaker-vibrations a bit and similar compression springs are used for engine-valves, so they are certainly the most reliable option.
