The only reason why i don't play ares is u get bullied for using it like opponents gonna say ur spamming and then bring like odins and then now ur whole team is tilted because they are dying to the Odin and blaming u same with Odin aswell

The Ares is good for wall banging on a character like Sova (Sinatra playstyle) . You do not want to buy this over a spectre especially as your rank gets higher, you will get destroyed trust me.

For me, Ares is stronger on defense cuz u can spam wall and smoke to deny entry, but Spectre is way better on attack considering you need to move faster to entry site and watch more angles so ADS is less effective

I only use the ares when I play sova. (Wallbangs on haven)

I picked up the ares today and top fragged three matches in a row with an ares ace to finish one of the matches. Definitely agree this is slept on and should be considered more, people just default to spectre for some reason

I actually thought of buying the ares instead of the spectre because today there are rounds where i was supposed to be dead but saved because i was using the ares.

I play a lot of ares when Im not playing Viper, but usually, I just go spectre, since no tracers are so helpful on viper.

ARES is my top weapon since day one till already expert how to use it like a pro duelist with their damn vandal LOL, the enemy always sick of it, Nerf or not doesn't matter, im still using it but recommended till you reach Silver or gold, above silver rank to the top well its quite painful but still doable because you will meet those crazy pro aim players (vandal/phantom user) as they always get you first unless you fast enough with your Ares like i always do, as sentinel and support role to my team this weapon is the best for defense

Though it depends on the map, I would say the Ares is best on defence with ADS jumppeeks at a medium-ish range. It is definitely best on Sova and Fade.

I think part of what ur describing for the more accurate feeling after the 10-15 bullet mark is due to the ares being the only gun to get a reduced bullet spread compared to the 1st shot when spraying.

As a Sova & Cypher main i prefer Ares tag them and shoot them through walls and boxes.

I just used it in a bronze compi, they acussed me of spamming 🥺
But I was just breaking sages wall they were behind the wall and they died.

Just got back into using the Ares following the recent Spectre nerf. It was one of the first guns I picked consistently when I first started Valorant and didn't understand anything about saving for Vandals or Phantoms. I put it down for a long time but oh boy, this thing shreds enemies especially noobs who don't one-tap me fast enough.

I wish all my teammates who ADS spray with a vandal would use this instead, they already have the skills perfected for the Ares.

ngl I don't like neither the Spectre nor the Ares, I just use Stinger, Marshal or Bulldog in non-full buys

I as actually thinking to use ares for a while and i really want to do that now because if you use reyna you get so many kills
