Looks as if the thing performs scale as well as it looks scale. Those old Willies weren't fast on flat roads and trails, but they could go OK. And they could deal with some pretty bad terrain. I'd definitely have one (a real Jeep, not this one. Costs too much and I don't even much use the ground vehicles I have any more). It is an awesome RC though. I love it.

Do some kit bashing and make it the jeep from Kelly's Heroes with a little Clint Eastwood driving!

The real Willy’s design had leaf spring suspension, not independent coil overs. But still a very nice scale looking and performing. 👍🏻

For that size and that quality the price is like half what I expected

Got one for Christmas.....Freaking love it!....took the little plastic travel restrictors off the shocks for more travel and trimmed the uderside of the servo tray to clear the link on top of the front axle for more flex on the right side. Also moved the front bumper back and up a bit for better approach angel. I may put longer travel shocks on it for even more flex.

I have two of these definately number one on my list..adding more cool details to both of mine........by the way hi abbey

Pretty sure this is made in China guys. Lots of listening devices and other unnecessary snooping devices being found in electronic products coming out of China. Be aware of Lenovo laptops as factory software updates were found to have malware.

Just saw this video, very cool. I'd like to see a mounted machine gun in the back, ala "Rat Patrol" style, lol. Then you could use that 4th channel for something really cool.

Is the electronics water proof?

The 1/12 scale one is better IMO. More realistic because of the leaf springs.

Considering I paid $1000 for my SCX-6, I don't think the price is bad at all. It looks great, and I might just grab one.
