Screen Mirroring iPhone to Macbook Pro M1 Wirelessly! [iOS 15 to MacOS Monterey]

Is there a method to continue using other applications on a Mac while the iPhone's video feed is being mirrored to it? So far, I've been unable to figure out how to do this.
To clarify, I'd like to mirror my iPhone's display to my Mac, but still have the ability to see and interact with other open windows on my Mac, as currently, the mirroring function hides everything else.

For those saying it might not support older macs, that might not be the case.

I use a Macbook pro 2012 13" running Monterey and Iphone X running IOS 16.5 and I just tried this and it works perfectly.

Ensure you are signed in with same apple id on both mac and Iphone 👌🏽

Does any one know how to get the mirrored screen on a window rather than the full screen on the Mac m1. This is essentially making the m1 monitor and key board useless if it only can see the iPhone screen on the M1's screen.

Hi, did as you said, iPhone 13 PRO on iOS 15.5 (up to date) and MacBook Air on macOS Monterey ( up to date) - not working, not even recognize on mirroring as MaBook Air. Same apple ID, Same wi fi, etc. Any suggestions how to fix? thanks!

Apple are some suckers for not including Mid 2017 imacs. Perfectly capable of doing this.

So apparently my macbook is not supported (1 gen oudated ;-;)
