A bit of a different video today, but I hope seeing my actively doing the skills I often teach was powerful? Helpful? Subscribe if you enjoyed :)
ОтветитьThe morning dump had me rolling lol
ОтветитьSo insightful Eljay, thank you. Beginning a push into content creation online after getting twitch affiliate!
ОтветитьA really good software for public speaking is this VR game which has audience leave if you use fillers like "Um and And" or if you take too long of pauses, also if you are hard to understand. The university I went to had it and I downloaded it on my computer, it is very useful if you have a VR Headset.
ОтветитьGreat video, great ideas, cant wait to watch it again and take notes this time. Also, you're actually hilarious. Thanks for helping us be better creators.
ОтветитьWatched this when it first went live, but I am back to watch again. Since I can't like again I will leave a comment! Thanks!
ОтветитьI think this is a really important video. I want to say thank you for the time and effort you put into your craft, although I suffer from the affliction of getting overwhelmed by my systems, it really gave me a boost to hear all the steps laid out. I am truly grateful.
ОтветитьFYI, if you don't like the format of creating small clips, you can try using the OBS extension Infowriter. You can create a hotkey that'll make a timestamp in a text file, then you know which times you can skip right to. Use a Stream Deck's hotkey function and you only need to press 1 button.
ОтветитьThank you so much for all your valuable info.
ОтветитьHuge W putting the sponser at the end. I have clicked off videos due to creators mentioning the sponsor at the start. And for the intro... Crushed it
ОтветитьVery insightful and helpful vid, I'm new to the streaming, record and editing my video, i wll try to implement step by step so that i can improve especially at public speaking 😂😂... thanks for video 👍😁
ОтветитьThe title says Mastering. As in, in the process of. I think you did good. Honestly, technology and trends change so fast that I don't think we can really master any of it. What matters is that we continue on the journey imo. Also, how do you normally have 6 audio tracks??
ОтветитьEljay, you are consistently one of the most motivating creators I watch in this space. I've been in a massive slump with productivity because of IRL obligations and while a lot of this is daunting its also really encouraging to see and hear your struggles and successes as well. Each day we just have to get a little better!
ОтветитьThis video was full of INSANE value, the editing/scripting sequences are SO incredibly useful.
ОтветитьBig props Eljay, this video must have taken forever to make. These learnings are super helpful for so many of us. Thanks for the epic content as usual 🫡
ОтветитьThis was INCREDIBLY useful!
My goal for this summer is improving on all of the different aspects of content creation and this was a great beginning. You gave me tons of ideas and ispiration. Thank you Eljay
Ooooh that was a good intro! And loved the entirety of this video!
Ответить"This just took 2 hours"
me sweating
"but i do my entire videos in two hours?"
also me
"WhY AreN'T i GrOwInG?"
Loving your videos. Learning a lot and excited to start implementing these things myself. Thank you.
ОтветитьTo master something is to be able to use it effectively, consistently, yourself and to be able to teach the skill, to master level, to another. So far I think you are good.
ОтветитьThank you so much for doing these videos. I remember hearing in another video that these aren't as successful as your other content, but I look forward to watching them and actually getting long-term education in more than just streaming/content in general. Thank you again for helping me grow as a person, and I hope you're doing well!
Ответитьwhy not combine the 10 minutes of public speaking with the morning dump by doing 10 minutes recording yourself doing a morning dump orally (that's a horrible sentence to type!)? Maybe add a few minutes of prep to collect your thoughts so you have a rough idea of the ground you want to cover so that you can fit it into a relatively brief recording?
ОтветитьYou didn't fail by not moving locations. That is... silly. And I learned a lot from your video. I created the morning dump, a brain storm template in notion. And learned a lot just by watching you edit your video. Nice work man. Have a great day.
ОтветитьLoving the step by step guide! Umm dude, do you do this full time?? I ain't got time to sit and do all that stuff. 😂😂❤❤
ОтветитьThanks for this video, totally awesome to get immersed in as theres context, not just a random list of tips that no one really remembers 😄. I've had an interest in this sorta stuff for a while but I get ADHD burnout - much like you did in this video - when I try to do this around a fulltime job, so its awesome not just to see that too, but how to get around it.
Gonna save this one into my favourites to rewatch and use as motivation, thanks LJ!
This video is amazing it really sheds the light on being a creator! I’ve been trying to figure out a balance between 40 hr a week plus stream and I couldn’t find anything that is this helpful! Thank you!
ОтветитьThese are some great ideas and tips for beginners and pros alike. Thanks for the help. I am still struggling to reach just 1k Subs on my channel. I am sure these tips will really help me up my game.
ОтветитьI use Toggl Track and a white board to plan my content creation.
So if there's one big take away from it all, get a whiteboard that you can always view in your room!!!
How would you go about saving time when editing VODs? Most of my footage is VODs that I record while streaming and it takes a lot of time for me to comb through footage to find the best bits.
ОтветитьI've only watched about 1 minute and 40 seconds and have already ended up on a 2 hour StreamScheme rabbit hole. Really looking forward to the rest of the the video and the resources/tools mentioned. Always bringing up great stuff!
ОтветитьI am aware this has been covered before elsewhere, but how do the preparation/productivity/off-camera parts apply to livestreaming? Another way of putting it is could you please touch on how you approach your actions/planning in advance and any "ritual" in the same-day-as-stream lead up to a stream session. Also what do you do after a stream ends to connect that one to the next session's plan? How do you adapt a plan if the preceding session didn't go the way you hoped? I find a lot of similar vids only talk about creating videos, as though live doesn't exist in the realm of content creation.
ОтветитьThis video is simply amazing and extremely helpful. I sincerely thank you for uploading this, I had been stuck in a "perfectionist" mindset which in turn made me do no work at all, this video showed me how to stop that and get to work on uploading content. I appreciate this video a lot.
ОтветитьWould love to see more of the process/study things like this video! Helps me see better how to really break things down for a video!
ОтветитьTaking a dump while watching you dump.
ОтветитьI really enjoyed your editing tip, I would have never thought to just throw the webcam and scene on the same display and just crop it later
ОтветитьCan we please get a different name for morning dump? Every time I hear it, I laugh
ОтветитьNgl, I thought the “morning dump” was gunna be something else. ☕️ 👀
ОтветитьThis is one of my favourite videos of yours as of lately! I feel like I'll be revisiting this one a couple times to see what I can learn from each day properly!
ОтветитьGreat video! I bet the scripting and planning for this video took a lot of time and effort, but it definitely shows. 🙏
Ответитьloved this video
ОтветитьAlright alright, you convinced me to play the game, happy?
ОтветитьAbsolutely love the transparency in the creative process. This one’s a real banger. Gonna incorporate this in my personal works!!
ОтветитьI think this is genuinely one of the best videos on this channel.
ОтветитьGreat video Eljay! Question for you I do enjoy doing the public speaking for 10 mins! I've really like how I sound on camera so thank you for that! I guess the thing I'm struggling with is believing what I have to say is valuable/ helpful/ entertaining!
ОтветитьThis was delightful to watch. And I plan on using some of it as inspiration for my own videos in the future.😊
ОтветитьThis video is very epic and even motivational. You have summarised many years of experience into a 30 min video for the newbies.
ОтветитьI love the difference the video has because it feels more like a case study with us along for the ride instead of a lecture or presentation. We are in there fr
ОтветитьThumbnails lately have been looking AWESOME!!! Videos are great as always! Thanks for all the tips Eljay!!!
