ОтветитьHello sir we want more sweep picking
ОтветитьThe H.R. Giger is my dream guitar. I would love the chance to own one, I've been waiting since it came out, like 25+ years now. Beautiful guitar I hope one day I will have one.
ОтветитьI always stayed away from sweeping because I saw it as an advanced technique, and I simply wasn't into the sound it produces. Let me tell you that even if you are not gona put sweep arpeggios and licks into your repertory because it's simply not your style, learning it is fundamental to your right hand technique.
Switching to adjacent strings becomes cleaner and more efficient. Also, I developed the bad habit of using the elbow too much on my legato/alternate picking. Alternating between "from the wrist" alternate picking and sweep picking exercices, I started to develop a much cleaner and more relaxed technique, as I began to be able to use my elbow to do the string switching much more effortlessy, as the wrist focuses on plucking.
What delay are you using? It sounds amazing!
ОтветитьHow to tutorial sweepiking cord minor friend?
ОтветитьGood friend sweeping
ОтветитьThis is not a good Beginner video. You're just giving exercises, but barely explaining what's the correct technique.
ОтветитьHow do you get that tone I'm in love
ОтветитьIts good up to a point.. once you can go so fast theres no real hearing of notes.... its really 1 sound of the note going either high to a low sound or just the opposite... that super fast leve to me is just cheesy! Really all the player is getting across is how fast he can go and to me it has no musical value to my ear. When it sound good.. or cool is slow.. med and somewhat fast.. anything after that to me is just a waist of time. But to each their own.. we all like different sounds and styles.. so if playing sweeps so dam fast you cant even hear it independently whats the point. Blllrrrrrrrrp, ok... big deal so you can more your fingers fast as lighting.. ok its not that you can play 20 notes in 1/2 of a second but what is the sound your making? What emotion or feeling are you getteng across to the listeners? Do i like it? Yes to a point... like i said, after a certain amount of speed.. what. Are you really producing? And why are you producing that sound in the section of the song... and whats then ending feeling/expression/emotion are wanting the listener to exsperience? Are your really trying to say something with some substance to it or are you doing sweeps just to do sweeps bc everyone else does sweeps in this section of the song that sounds like all the other songs that has sweeps? Dont be a follower, be a leader, be original, be something new thats good to hear. Be you!
ОтветитьWhen. You want to just throw your guitar straight into the trash... 1st 10 seconds of the beginning of this video 🤣😭
ОтветитьTake a breath. It does my head in when people edit videos so there's no pauses between sentences. And where exactly is the lesson? Got to 4mins + and it's just waffle.
ОтветитьShit dude you didn't need to call out my shit technique like that 🤣
ОтветитьBernth your music inspires me
ОтветитьSTABWOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ответитьi’m intermediate in everything but sweep picking. am i still an intermediate guitarist 😂
ОтветитьMy white whale was trying to learn the intro to Lake Bodom. I never did, but hopefully as a member of your Patreon I'll build my skills enough.

I haven't played for 3 years I can still play but I'm hella sloppy. Thank you so much for this, hope I get better again
Ответить😊👍
ОтветитьHi Bernth, thanks for he invaluable share. Amazing sound. Are you using a 10-46 strings gauge there?
ОтветитьI learned only ash remains on bass!!
ОтветитьThanks teacher I'm playing guitar 25 years ago on a culture riff but sweep picking is not good in my hands ,very hard to conquer the scales 😂 as I watch your guitar lesson is very good
ОтветитьDude, I would be happy being able to play your “sloppy fake arpeggios”. I’m currently at arpeggi NO. Thanks for all your posts I’m get it ;)
ОтветитьThis is awesome dude! You're a fuckin master!
ОтветитьIf the sweep picking is 1 finger for 3 strings, can we replace it with 3 fingers, for example 1 freet has 3 strings pressed?
Ответить3 days after finding this video and I am genuinely already making progress with my sweeping. I can't thank you enough daddy Bernth.
ОтветитьMy issue was always notes ringing out longer than I wanted them to and it was frustrating because I could play the thing but it never sounded clean
ОтветитьI’m here so I can learn how to sweep and flex
ОтветитьSeems to me like theres some utility in learning this technique at all speeds, like it can kind of work like a cheat sheet for note runs
ОтветитьBorn of Osiris machine of course. Been playing the song for like a year and still suck at it.
ОтветитьBeen playing for 15 years and my impatience caused me to need to go back to basics.
