What happened is the poll told the Game Awards producers they could not accept Sony's bribe for GoW to win GotY, so they just started throwing randoms awards at them, because people cared less about those. That's how they got music and Art Direction. I'm not saying GoW is bad -- they just don't excel in any of those categories.

The Flute guy's name is Pedro Eustache, he plays in Han Zimmer's Orchestra and works closely with him.

To me, Christopher Judge's long speech was needed because he didn't just talk about "yeah I won this, I earned this, I'm so happy, I'm so this and that" he went there and tried to make everyone acknowledge all the people who worked so hard on a so many award winning game. He won the award yes but he was aware he couldn't be there without everyones hard work. He was trying to put respect on everyones name. That's why I respect Christopher Judge so much. What a legend.
