How to Move Apps to Desktop on MacBook

For some reason when I do this it adds all the apps together instead of indiviually like it shows on your desktop. They are all bunched up together. Do you know how to fix this?

It saves the app as a shortcut. I want calendar but it doesn’t have correct date showing

The first method i dont recommend, cause you will copy all the aplication

If I add more than 1 app to my desktop it will merge into a mapp, how can I avoid this?
